My wife has suffered from Lymes disease for 6 years. She has seen a few different medical professionals because they keep leaving or quitting their practice for various reasons. We just saw another doctor. He thinks that she has had enough antibiotics to treat the lyme disease and that there is another issue. My wife has dental issues that are causing the roots of her teeth to dissolve. The doctor thinks that the teeth may be infecting the rest of her body. He wants her to have all of her teeth yanked. We are willing to try anything, but this is a drastic step. We were wondering if anyone else has heard of such a thing or had a similar experience. Thanks for your responses.

Second highest medical expense for me ,besides LLMD and treatment, is the dental bill-for root canals. Some teeth just couldn't be saved, broke down below the gum-so I 'm a bit "spacey" (!)

Just started treatment and haven't thought to ask LLMD if the two are related-although my dentist was a bit mistified as to why I was having so much trouble with them.

Broken in Balto,
Carol

Hi there,

Through my own experience, I did not begin to get well until I addressed the teeth. This is hard to accept.

But, everything has change for the better since dealing with these issues.

I am happy to say that my cancer is no longer found with ART testing. This is huge, if you have ever been told that you have cancer.

I believe that all my problems began in my mouth and most will never believe that. But, the proof is in the pudding and I am a strong believer that if you get rid of the infection, the infection will leave your body.

So, trust in your own thoughts. I did and I am getting well.

A poster named Gigi has given lots of valuable information on this. You can search under her name to find out more.

If you are interested to get the opinion of a dentist who is well aware of Lyme, who has Lyme himself, and has saved a lot of people by having sound judgment of these situations where the teeth are involved --- then contact me privately:
[email protected].

I have no desire to get into a shouting match with the resident dentist, who is himself a very sick man, on this board, but would be happy to share what I have learned about teeth and chronic infection.

Do a search here - you will find a lot of info about teeth. Lymesblue is right, there is no healing with an infected mouth. As per my doctor
(www.neuraltherapy.com), 85% of all disease starts in the mouth. Most breast cancers go back to the dental issues. I don't know any of the cancer patients, all of whom having Lyme, that have gotten well without addressing the teeth in a serious way. I don't know of any Lyme patient treated by my doctor who got well without addressing teeth. Every single one of them had issues with teeth.

Feel free to e-mail if you wish. Take care.
