1. Have you been diagnosed with lyme clinicly or through Western Blot? Have you had any other/prior diagnosis or anything else your doctor might think is causing your illness besides lyme.
2. Is there anything that you have found that helps with your eye?
3. My eyes started turning red - one at a time- about a year after the other symptoms started. When did yours start?

have opthamologist do test for amout of tears per second if low then restatsis, if just slightly dry then lubricant without any drugs for redness, these tend to make you addictive to the antihistamines. also dry mouth and less sweating is also symptoms of lyme, usually chronic and may also be connected with secondary Sjorgren's syndrome especially woman.

In answer to your question, I was diagnosed both clinically with multiple symptoms and with Western Blot for Lyme, and other IGeneX tests for coinfections.
My red eyes burn so I use TheraTears and things like that just to keep them hydrated and refreshed, and also because I use the computer a lot. But it doesn't help the redness.
My red eyes really did not start until after treatment, but they do not correlate with herxes.
I did get rid of all the potted plants that were outside my window that seemed to be moldy and that seemed to help one bout of burning eyes in both eyes, but nothing has really helped the one red eye at a time situation.
I think many of the posters might be on to something that it could be Bartonella, because I seem to be getting a lot of Bartonella symptoms lately, despite having been on some medication for it.
