Hello Everyone,

I have been on the Doxy treatment for 2 weeks now,how long do the lymph nodes in your neck usually hurt?

Mine stopped hurting after about 10 months. . . after all the other co-infections were treated and bartonella was addressed.

I was wondering if you have been tested for Bartonella -- I think swollen Lymph nodes are more common with that than with Lyme.

Even with Lyme nd not Bartonella in my opinion 2 weeks is not nearly long enough for this problem to go away.

Do you have fevers or sinus problems as well as the swollen lymph nodes?

I am wondering WHY you even have that problem.

Are you taking Red Root tincture faithfully to keep your lymph system all clear? If not, shame on you.

I haven't had any problems with my lymph nodes that I know of.

Hi Trina,
Yes Bartonella can cause swollen lymph glands....But

So can an active infection of lyme, ehrlichia and babesia. Your body is trying to fight it off.

You need to go to a LLMD and be tested for ALL Tick borne infections. I had swollen glands for years. 3 years of antibiotics with gland slowly improving. Now I am doing homeopathics, my glands are finally down.

I originally crashed with both kinds of Ehrlichiosis they can test for, I almost died from that disease. Don't play around with it.
Seek an LLMD!

I had all of the tick borne diseases and treated all. I still have lyme, bartonella and babesia. It's een a constant fight. Lymph gland go up and down, even when I get a cold along with this stuff.
Take care and good luck.

Hello,
I started 3 weeks of doxy for an EM around may 18 th or so.Was told there was no need to do blood test as as EM was all that was needed to diagnose lyme.

So...I went to the library figured I must have something else going on because I still feel sick and have one week of abx left.

My daughters doc said I must be off the abx for 6 weeks to test for coinfections.I do not have a sinus problem going on .t
The lymp nodes starting hurting, chills, aching ect..two days before I found the little nasty tic that left the EM.

JimBOB What is the herb or tincure you are talking about and can I get it at any health food store ? How much do I use?

If my blood test come back postive for any infections I will go to see a LLMD.We are on a really tight income.I am hoping our insurance will pay for the nearest one in Kansas city .

I guess I am really hoping my daughters doctor has some expierece in dealing with lyme cases. And was wondering and if any of you were fighting active infections while lymphs were hurting.Am afraid the Doxy is not working

Oops...guess a couple of you did answer that question.

I have an underactive thyroid gland so I run sub normal temp.My temp has been almost normal so for me it has been a little elavated.

JimBob I will go to the Healthfood store today and get the tincture as I cannot stand this.Thank you all.
