Hi Cutie,

I had the same thing, very annoying. Are you on Rifampin? It happened to me when i was on Rifampin, and it was interacting with the other meds I was on, not a good thing, so i quit taking it.

What meds are you on?

Doxy (but evidently not enough to make me herx from what I've read on the board - 200 mg/day)

Cymbalta, Klonopin, numerous supplements.

Yes, I have had this symptom come and go for years and sometimes it is brought on my me just turning or tipping my head in a certain way, a minor movement like that brings on a major woosh sometimes and I have to grab my head.

Doxycyline at 50 mg made me herx - everyone is different.

The concensus is that MORE than 200 mg doxy should be used to fight lyme, but everyone herxs at different levels on it.

And, doxy is one of the that gave me that swooshy feeling. The entire time I was on it, in fact. It got better a month after quitting doxy. Sometimes, lyme just makes it happen for me all on its own.
