anyone have any thoughts on a huge lump I have on the inside of my left knee. It is about the size of a plum and growing. It hurts and is hard not soft like a bakers cyst. It also does not move around.
Does this seem like a lyme thing?

Do you have an elevated fever with it? It could be a secondary infection of some sort-- but aren't you on antibiotics? I think you should definitely get to your doc about it asap! In the interim, maybe heat would help. Also, you might concentrate all the healing power of your mind on it and envision any nasty cells dying and shriveling up. Well I had an appointment with an orthopidic surgeon and he has no idea what the lump is. He did an xray and it showed nothing...he wants me to have an MRI of my knee...he seems to think it is attached to the muscle.
Does this sound lyme related....it is a hard large lump, that does not move to much, painfull at times and on the side of my knee facing my other leg...
any information would be great.

the orthopidic surgeon does not think it is a bakers cyst but said it is possible...he has never seen one on the side of the knee..just the back.
I've been alarmed and the large red subcuc lumps that have been showing up on my lower legs the past 6 or 8 weeks and haven't diminished. the redness eventually seems to go away and i'm left with a very hard nodule that doesn't decrease in size. i don't appear to have any lumps behind my knees at all, however, i'm convinced now that the problem is a case of Bartonella.
I have a cat that's neutered and declawed but likes to bite on occasion and that's where i must have picked this up.
Looks like it's Rife and Azith for me now. God, i'm so tired of all this. i've been fighting Bb for four years and making a great recovery, now this.
Any words of wisdom from all are appreciated. Please post and send email. Here I go again...

Our doc said he see's these cysts fairly often associated with lyme. He lances them and finds that the interior's are a jello-like consistency. He isn't quite sure himself what it's all about but finds that their benign and are associated with an active Bb infection.

My brother had such a thing when he was young under his knee. it was surgically removed, simple operation after which everything was normal

When the lump is removed make sure they check it for the ketes. I'm not sure if that is part of the routine pathology or not.
