I have been on rifampin and zith for the last one and a half months. The last two days I have been having periods of air hunger that is increasing in frequency and potency. Talking can leave me gasping. It coming in waves and they are gettig closer together.
Now today its like there is a knee in the middle of my back and a corsett is being pulled tight on my rib cage and abdomen, makes it seem like an effort to breathe. My spine is hurting from the pressure and my airway burns.
I have had this before but as muted background noise , now its a full crescendo. I am wondering if a Bart herx or because Bart is being taken care of maybe babs is coming to the fore.?

get tested for tularemia. Could also be that.

It sounds awful, but not like babesia. Look for more malaria-like symptoms, such as relapsing fever, sweats, mild seizures, paralyzing exhaustion, flushed face, dizzyness, vertigo.

What are you doing for candidiasis?
If it were me, I would consider the above and go to my chiropracter for a manipulation.
Are you taking Mg? Maybe a soak in Epsom Salts.

It was my stomach totally fried on too may supplements. Giving it a break and its much better now. Ay carumba! it was PO'd.

What you described is very close to what I'm experiencing...Spinal, abdominal pain and tightness. And I tested positive for babs. I would definitely test and potentially treat it.
