I have a question about Artemesia. I had been
reading on a recent post "My Artemisinin Protocol" about the different protocols people use, how many mg per day, divided doses etc.
Most people seem to use the Allergy Research/Nutricology . Are you using the 500mg
Artemesia rec by Dr.B, the 100mg Artemisinin or
the Super Artemisinin?

According to the product description the Super
Art is substantially more potent due to the synergistic effect of the the pure art combined
with the cell sap(leaf oil) 180mg/20mg.
And then it says that it is not as cooling as pure Art & is likely to be more balanced for broad use. I do not understand chinese medicine
Maybe that means the pure ART for babs would
be better indicated. Just curious wanted to give
this a try. Think Ill go with the broad spectrum.

Details, details.

I would ask your dr what dosage he thinks is best for you. Also he should know if it will have a negative reaction with anything you are already taking.

Best wishes

Azure,

I re-read my question and it is not clear looks
like I am asking about the dosage.
I actually want to know which one of these 3
Allergy Research Products people use. (i realize
that some people use other Art products)

Artemesia
Artemisinin
Super Artemisinin

Trust me Doctors dont have time for questions
like this and Lymenet folks know more about
this stuff than they do.

It is also possibble I just misread it cuz I am soo tired if my brain was mush it would be an improvement [bonk]

I use Artemisinin by nutricology (I realize that nutricology and allergy research are joined but the brand name on my bottles just say nutricology)

I get it from www.fernsnutrition.com

Best wishes

canefan - do you want an answer to this? Because this question was in 2006... I hope she got an answer back then!

We are using parastroy... contains artemesia as one of many ingredients.

Thanks momlyme

I have super artemisinin in the cabinets and was wonder whether to pulse it (on top of A-babs)

I am not sure about that Super Artemisinin. What does the bottle say?

From my research on Babs & parasites in general, I am continuing parastroy without pause until all symptoms are gone. We also muscle test and our NP checks for parasites... still high.

Pulsing, switching protocols and doing something else during the off time might work. And since you are doing A-Babs... this may be an option for you.

I plan on adding salt/c back in at some point.

Waiting until I get the last of my amalgams out on Friday. Don't want to do too much at once.

It's nutricology
180mg artemisinin
20mg Sweet wormwood oil

Thank you canefan17 for pointing out in a PM that Parastroy does not list artemesia. I wanted to share my reply here as well incase anyone else who is looking for artemesia in Parastroy.

BoxerMom made an excellent post about this subject which prompted me to do further research on artemesia.

There are more than a couple of strands of Artemesia... the two that we most want for medicinal purposes are:

Artemisia absinthe for GI parasites...
http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/w/wormwo37.html

and Artemisia annua, or the constituent Artemisinin, is used for treating red blood cell parasites like Babesia and Malaria...
http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/69126.cfm

Both can also be called Wormwood although Artemisia annua is sometimes called sweet wormwood.

Parastroy has wormwood, which is most likely artemisia absinthium, based on results and the claims of the product.

I have used a couple of different Artemesia combo products. Recently started Parastroy for me and my son... putting hubby on it too when he gets laid off.
