first i want to say -- i appreciate all of you--- encouraging words for discouraging times
i took malarone for the first time yesterday - it made my head feel like it was going to burst. i had rushes of anxiety and started to hallucinate! woke up every hour last night Don't want to take it any more !!
lyme and babs is easier to tolerate than the drug! i am ready to return to the gentle herbs has any one experienced this - ?

I've never tried Malarone, I used Mepron and I had no problems w/ it. Have you called the doc to report your experience? Maybe a change in meds is needed for you.

no -- i barely got the malarone approved by the insurance company - they denied mepron
but i will call the llmd - - i believe ketek or plaquenil are the only ones he may try
