I constantly feel like there are little specks or termites sizzling around my head. They move around constantly, whether I'm taking and herb/med or not.

Needless to say, I'm being driven crazy.

does anyone have this?
Does anyone think this is lyme or co-infection?

No way to tell which one. Just keep knocking them down and OUT with meds!

Thanks.
It's just so hard as it is every minute of every day now for 1.5 years.
There seems to be some improvement however, the termite feeling seems to be hitting a part of my ?brain that is causing much more anxiety than before.

Jennifer, I have been dealing with this for a little over 4 years now and i know how you feel. I don't know if you have tried Minocycline yet but it gets them in the brain. My doc has me slowly ramping up to 400mg a day right now the 300mg is taking the sensation away except for every once in a while i feel one. I am hoping in a month when i ramp up to the 400 it will stomp them all for good. Hope this helps! robin in Houston

I totally have the same thing..I describe it as little hot pins poking my head, but it could also be dscribed as little termites knawing at my brain.

My head also feels like it is on fire, very heavy and lots of pressure. I always feel like I am in a fog and will pass out.

I actually saw a neurologist about it today because I have had the same terrible headache for 3 weeks now with no relief.

LLMD says meds need to kick in before headaches will go away, but I will see anyone who I think can help.

Neuro doc says those pains are caused by the nerves, which are inflamed and is putting me on a drug call gabapentin (neurontin) which helps with nerve pain. I will try anything.

Good thing is he wants me to check with LLMD first to make sure he approves as well. I am hoping this will break my cycle of nerve pain.

I feel for you it is terrible. Oddly, it is comforting to hear others with the same symptoms. At times you think you are losing your mind, everyone thinks your crazy, especially when your body is going haywire and you feel like you have lost all control.

Good luck and take care...Feel better soon
