Hi -- Anyone else trying mangosteen juice and getting good results?

I've been drinking it for about 2 weeks now and it is dramatically taking down some Lyme symptoms.

In the first hour of drinking a little bit, my eye pain diminished and I could start to focus again.

Twenty four hours later, I was able to take off the dark glasses I have worn for 2 decades and look at light(got bit 25 years ago; didn't know I had Lyme until this past spring).

I also have lipomas(fatty tissue tumors) in my legs and the pain around them has gone down such that I'm not on ice 24/7. They are also softening a little.

An MD doctor who has put Lyme patients on the juice says the lipomas can go away if I drink enough juice.

I'm working up to what he wants: 1/2 bottle a day for 21 days. People with cancer drink a bottle a day for one month and then 1/2 bottle a day for the second month. A cab driver told me his leukemia went away on the juice.

The juice is made from the SE Asian mangosteen fruit. It has 43 xanthone compounds in it with double bonds. They donate electrons to free radicals and neutralize them.

The juice is an anti-oxidant 6x stronger than Vitamin C. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic and antifungal.

I drink a little bit every couple hours, with water. You can find it at your healthfood stores.

I like the Ultra Mangosteen brand best -- has a good juice blend, includes goji berries, 70 trace ionic minerals.

I LOVE it, but I wouldn't use anything except Xango. Could you go back and edit your post? It's difficult for those with vision problems to read.

The original mangosteen juice has helped me get off 6 different meds so far!

I no longer have an astigmatism [verified with dr's notes], pain, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, allergies, hmmm....what else?

All in all, it's changed my life.

Glad you're liking the results!

Hi Lymetoo -- thx for responding so quickly -- hope my writing is now readable.

Wow -- you have quite a success list there -- off 6 meds with symptoms down -- congratulations!

How long have you been drinking it, how much at a time, and how quickly did you notice results?

Why do you like the Xango version best? What's in it? Have you compared it with other brands?

Thx -- Robin

XAngo contains the WHOLE FRUIT PUREE, meaning that you get the entire fruit, NOT AN EXTRACT as Ultra is.

It is important to get the medicinal qualities of the RIND of the fruit, not just the juice from the inside of the fruit, and not just an EXTRACT.

They have to use chemicals to get an extract of anything.

What you have in the Ultra is a good antioxidant. They've added vitamin C and all kinds of other stuff.

It sounds like it's a good antioxidant, but in my opinion, the Xango is better because of the xanthones from the whole fruit.

I've had a lot of people jump ship from other products once they found out how much better Xango was.

I've been taking it for 2 1/2 yrs now.

My understanding is the Ultra Mangosteen does have the whole rind? I like this brand as well, especially with the Goji and blueberry juices added.

Are you familiar with this brand Lymetoo? I order it at the Vitamin Shoppe for $14/ bottle as opposed to $40 bottle Xango.

I have seen great results with it as well..

Posted by SayYesh (Member # 8343) on :

If you're drinking 1/2 bottle a day, $14/bottle is a bit easier to take than $40/bottle which @ 1/2 bottle a day, you'd go broke. So Lymetoo, how often do you drink Xango? How quickly do you go through that $40 bottle?

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

My Xango is only $25 per bottle, plus taxes and shipping. About $31 total for my state.

NO OTHER MANGOSTEEN PRODUCT CONTAINS THE WHOLE FRUIT PUREEE. I can show you the patent as well.

Like I said, you have a good antioxidant there, but why not go for the best?

If Ultra has the rind, you will see it collecting at the bottom of the bottle. My bottle has more than one inch of rind at the bottom. It's very noticeable.

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Oh....say yesh posted while I was.

I drink Xango twice a day. Three times if I have pain or something like a headache.

It takes me 4 days to go through one bottle. Mine has been FREE since the first month I began taking it.

Free is good! [Wink]

Just noticed that Ultra contains 3 times as much sugar as the Xango. And I wonder if it's added sugar?

I wonder how much you guys have to take to get the same benefit as the Big X?

I have done research on this , Xango contains sugar.

Wouldn't that feed the yeast?

"Red" compared to Xango (as I have seen charts) has many more components then Xango - "Red" also has sugar.

Where are you getting Xango for 40.00 a bottle, I have always seen it for 100.00 a bottle, "Red" is more.

[confused]

Sum's Club has cheaper mangosteen of 500ml?

Posted by karatelady (Member # 7854) on :

I take Xango also. The sugars in it are natural sugar from the fruit juice. I have always been very sensitive to sugar and get low blood sugar easily. I've also had Candida for years. I've had no problem with the Xango. In fact, I think it has helped my stomach problems.

Xango has helped me tremendously with fatigue, allergies, and the best one for me so far - no more sleep meds. I was on $70 out of my pocket sleep meds every month. I took Xyrem and Sonata.

If you read the other post on Xango from yesterday, you will see one of my customers is completely free of her bone cancer which she just found out Friday after going to see her doctor.

I've compared my health food store brands and they are much lower in the amount of antioxidants in them. The owner was very surprised!

So the bottom line is, you get what you pay for.

Sandy

Ladylee,

Xango has never been $100 a bottle. Now if you join (like a Sam's Club) you pay a membership fee and you get the case for $100 plus shipping and taxes. That may be what you are thinking of.

Hmm, I can't think of why else you would've seen it for that much for just a bottle.

I've got to admit, I would pay that for it if I had too. Thankfully, I don't.

It has actually helped my candida instead of "feeding the yeast." Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to take it.

I feel like its one of the best products I take in my "arsenol of supplements" because it kills free radicals plus helps so much with inflammation.

"Red" is only an "energy drink"...not a healthy drink in my opinion. Same category as Red Bull. Those drinks are not good for you.

The main focus of Xango is the Xanthones. Red doesn't have that.

I think karatelady answered the "sugar" question adequately.

Hi Lymetutu,

Could you please send me information about where I can buy the Xango juice?

I heard you can register as a vendor to buy it cheaper, do you know anything about it?

Thanks a lot!

Can anyone tell me how much sugar is in xango? I looked for ir on the bottle but there is no nutrition lable.

Posted by karatelady (Member # 7854) on :

It has 2g for 1 fl. oz. But remember, its natural sugar from the fruit juice.

And like I mentioned earlier, my stomach reacts terribly when I have sugar and this juice has actually healed a lot of my stomach issues.

Hope that helps,

Sandy

As an antioxidant
Although the primary site of melatonin's action is via the melatonin receptors, melatonin evolved first as an antioxidant, and has only this primitive and primary function in many lower life forms.[13]

Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant that can easily cross cell membranes and the blood-brain barrier.[3] Unlike other antioxidants, melatonin does not undergo redox cycling, the ability of a molecule to undergo reduction and oxidation repeatedly. Redox cycling may allow other antioxidants (such as vitamin C) to act as pro-oxidants, counterintuitively promoting free radical formation. Melatonin, once oxidized, cannot be reduced to its former state because it forms several stable end-products upon reacting with free radicals. Therefore, it has been referred to as a terminal (or suicidal) antioxidant.[14]

Thought you guys should see this why melatonin is better than vitamin C and other antioxidents.

Two year shelf life unopened. No problems with the heat, but in Canada they have troubles in the winter!! [Smile]

Kathy, I would venture to guess that the bottles will have expiration dates on them. I just checked my recent shipment of Ultras. It says exp date 02/09, so they're giving it 2 years...I personally will not wait that long [Smile]

Question for all takers,

How much of the juice did you take per unit of body weight???

I know somebody on this thread that took ALOT and had quick results,,,have read others that took less and had results but slower.

So am wondering IF their is a recommended amount to take per unit of your weight???

I know I am probably twice the size of some here so assume it takes MORE juice to do same thing??

I think this is a VERY important aspect of using this and also how often per day!!!

come on,,,all you people who tried it,,,tell us how much how often and even those that it didnt work for,,,tell us same and see if we can dx WHY???

I took some once,,,but looking back it was too little too seldom and not constantly enough. kept forgetting,,,no other excuse!!

Also,,,it 'appears' to me that it makes NO difference what else you are taking,,,you can take this,,,in other words it doesnt appear to me taking it is NOT limited by other meds,,might make them work,,,better!!!! RIGHT OR WRONG???

Help us figure out IF this is good for us and an approximate percentage(to compare with other stuff)

I am going to give it 'another' more HONEST try,,,again!!!me being--just don--

I've gotten a lot of relief from the Xango, too.

I take about 4 oz a day, and it took me awhile to start seeing the results.

It is expensive, but for me, it's worth it!

I had quick results with it. My husband was out-of-town when I started on it. It was about a year ago because I had gone to Home Depot, bought a bunch of plants and flowers and was in the yard working when he drove up.

To say he was totally shocked is an understatement. It gave me energy on my second or third day.

What it has done for me the most is gotten me off Xyrem and all other sleep meds. I couldn't sleep even with meds like Sonata, etc.

Now I don't take anything and sleep like a baby all night.

We bought a box for my mother-in-law shortly after I started on it. She has really bad arthritis in her shoulder and that pain has gotten a lot better.

Last week I talked to her and she told me she always had to use her cane to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

She said lately she hasn't had to use it and can get up with no problem. She said it has to be the Xango as nothing else has changed. She is 85.

My little maid has breast cancer that has gone to the bone. My karate friend's husband is her oncologist. She was on it for awhile and her pain went away in her ribs (she doesn't speak English very well so I have a hard time getting all the medical facts from her).

Anyway, her cancer came back about a month ago so we started her on it again. She also did a round of radiation.

We are buying it for her since she is single and struggling right now. She was here Tuesday and told me her ribs and her back are not hurting her anymore since she started back on it.

My husband takes it even though he is healthy. When he goes out-of-town, he forgets to take it with him and he says he can tell a difference in how alert he is when on it.

Those are all personal testimonies that I have first hand knowledge of.

Sandy

Don,

I'm average height and weight and take 2oz 2 times a day. Some days I take a bit more and some days I too forget, but in general I'm pretty consistent.

I've also heard that the more one takes especially at first the more noticeable the results.

Good luck trying it again and do keep us posted.

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

I take 2 1/2 to 3 oz twice a day. I can miss one dosage and do OK, but I haven't missed two doses in a row in nearly 3 yrs!

I feel wonderful 99% of the time. I'm not saying it cured my lyme, but let's just say I no longer have any syptoms as long as I drink the juice. Pretty easy to do!

Take my juice and you'll have a bear on your hands! [Big Grin]

oh...in answer to your question, don... I do believe it's VERY important to drink it at least twice a day and every day to get the results you desire.

I think a good guideline to decide "how much" is your own body, but a good rule of thumb is about 1 oz per 50lbs of body weight.

For those who are ill, it may take slightly more, or slightly less depending upon the response of your own body.

do you have to drink the juice or will the capsules help in the same way too?

Ok, responding to issues posed here...

Lyme Ed: I can only speak for myself. I buy the Ultra online -- I googled for cheapest price.

I think it's good for Lyme, since Lyme is an inflammatory condition and the juice is anti-inflammatory/anti-oxidant.

I cannot speak for its efficacy re candida, as there is some sugar in the product. I do have candida, and I haven't experienced being bothered by the product as in it increasing sugar cravings at all..

I don't have an LLMD to advise me one way or the other. The one Lyme-literate office I did mention it to learned from me, rather than the other way around.

Don: re how much to drink. I spoke with an MD doctor who was involved with Xango. He said it also depends on how ill you are. If someone has cancer, he wants them to drink more. I think he said he put cancer patients on one bottle/day for a month, then 1/2 bottle for the next month.

For me, since I have Lyme disease plus lipomas, he suggested I drink 1/2 bottle a day for one month, then I could do less after that. So that's what I did.

Now I drink about 5 oz/day. I also can go by how much I need to drink for symptom alleviation, like for my eyesight symptoms, or conversely, how little I need to drink, if it starts to give me the runs. My weight is around 180 lbs.

Mangosteen juice works for some and doesn't for others. So I've been told by lots of people I've recommended the juice to, even if they didn't have Lyme.

Parisa: yes, I continue to get results. I tested not drinking the juice, and I found my eye muscles started to develop pain within a few days. Drinking the juice causes eye muscle pain, blurry focus and sensitivity to light to go away for me. Also, since Ultra has 70 minerals added to it, my nails have gone very hard.

Radha: I never did capsules so can't speak to that question. I would think the juice would have faster absorption.

Thats why I mentioned melatonin it is a very powerful antioxident that does to bind again and agin with the wrong things vitamin c can.

I don't normally chime in on the Xango discussions because I am a distributor. I don't sell it to earn my living. Just do it for myself and those who ask me to get it for them. Although, it has helped to pay for my personal stash.

Anyway, I was soooo skeptical at first. For me, I have found that I get a second wind in the late afternoon after I have my 2 oz. of Xango. It gets me over the hump of an otherwise long day.

When I discovered that my bottle was disappearing rather quickly in the fridge, I realized that my family was "stealing" an ounce here and there of my liquid gold. They are all hooked now. Why? Because it tastes pretty darn good & they all swear it helps with energy and stamina. These are not people with serious health issues.

I can't say for sure what else it has done for me, except maybe helped with headaches and digestion. But, I can say that I feel funky when I run out for a few days. My sibs say the same thing.

I wonder if there is a 12 step program for Xango addicts. [Wink]

Enjoy!

I've never heard anyone with results from the pills. The whole fruit puree contains all of the xanthones, catechins, polysaccarides, polyphenols, and very importantly .. all the enzymes which your body needs in order to assimilate the juice.

Thanks, nan. I'll report the non-compliant site.

I prefer FREE to cheap, as most people would.

Posted by Ladylee210 (Member # 9945) on :

Nan that's an excellant site - thank you.

It is much cheaper on this site. (at least for those that just one bottle to try out)

My brother sells this stuff and my ex buys it continually from him, in signing up he had to have auto shipping of a case a month - I beleive now it's 2 cases a month - which can average close to 200.00.

I don't discredit the product - I'm just not sure about the sugar in it, even tho it's natural sugar - it still can effect the yeast if one has it.

I know I tryed it and in 3 to 4 days I was so congested it wasn't funny. HOWEVER some say in here that that will go away with time - but when you can't breath from congestion due to yeast - sugar related I have to question if this is right for me.

I truely would love to give it a shot once again
but am scared that it will make my yeast worse.

Not many things on the market without sugar, it's tuff at times.

You do NOT have to be on autoship!! If you're signing up people then YES...it will pay you to be on autoship.

The tax advantages of owning your own business pay for the juice itself.

The fructose amount is minimal. Even diabetics take it with wonderful results. The fructose amount is offset by the anti-fungal properties.

As for the congestion, lady...it was likely clearing your sinuses! Had you kept going, it probably would have resolved.

Free?.....check your PM.

Lymetoo....

Yes you were the one months ago who pointed the congestion problem to me and your thoughts on it.

It's not so much the sinus with me - it's more chest congestion along with sinus.

I really do which to give it a try once again, but need to be cautious about the breathing - which for me is always a HUGE red flag that it is not working well with the yeast in my body.

My girlfriend started "RED" is has little sugar in it as well and like xango the sugar is natural - she too got congested and had to stop. That was 46.00 a bottle I beleive.

I finally found a store that sells it, it's kind of a health food store. They charge 75 for two bottles.

It's really close but, man, 75 bucks for 2 bottles. I guess that's about average tho, huh?

Posted by karatelady (Member # 7854) on :

I don't believe they are allowed to sell it at a health food store so somebody is selling it improperly.

Also, the only reason you give out your social security is when you have people signed up under you (which happened to me when people saw a difference), Xango sends you a check.

I guess I just don't understand why people get upset when we start talking about how good Xango is? Its not hype when it works.

I've financially helped more people with it when they can't afford it and don't want to sell it because I know how much it will help them.

I tell people the same thing about the steam tent with oxygen/ozone. My husband made a spread sheet so if anybody wanted to set one up, they could. I'm not making any money from that.

I also tell them about the KMT24 and when I was using my Rife machine I talked about it.

I think everybody likes to share what is working for them.

Thanks all for the replies of amount taken in comparison of size etc. I am sure there is a cororlation(sp) of this.

Thanks for all the expert contribution to this also. I DO think this has the 'largest' positive response from users I have heard of in YEARS and years of reading here,,,including abx. Everybody reacts differently as with anything.

I surely THINK this is worth a shot for most all of us. I have money concerns,,,just like all of us. But I have wasted a ton of money on much worse stuff than this.

I havent sold any of this stuff to date,,,but think I "MAY" try to in the future. So I dont have a dog in this fight,BUT maybe next week!!

IF I can get a good reaction from it,,,which I havent been able to even on ANY abx,,,then I guess its sorta a no brainer. I am gonna try an increased amount like said previously and TRY to see if that is indeed a reason I didnt feel results the first time. Back then I really didnt have the time to do this(was hit and miss consisitantly),,,now I do,,,makes a difference,,,I HOPE!!!

I took a different diet suplement for 6-9 months and spent tons more than this stuff,,,and didnt feel any batter,,,actually worse,,the pepper in it caused my arthritis to flare. Not naming names,,,I still think that product is probably good for some folk,,,just NOT me. BUT I gave it a good shot, and now I know!!

I hope I have explained MY feelings on this. And I would suggest trying it,,, to all loved ones also!! I just hear consistant GOOD results from THIS product.remaining--just don--

Don't want to cause any problems bugt are there any lymies out there who ship to other lymies?

I can't order online because of identity theft problems so I don't give out any ID information but I could send check and all to another lymie, if that would be agreeable.

Sure seems to be a great difference in what people are charging.

From what I've read the capsules have the whole fruit, not just the fruit puree.

Has anyone here tried the capsules?

I did not notice much with the pill form, however I didn't push it either so I can't say for sure.

The pill form is much cheaper of course - I found it in my local health store, if I remember correctly it was reasonably priced for some to be able to at least try it if you'd like.

The pill form has no sugar.

I am interested as well, I am making one FAT! detox list of things to do [Big Grin]

Had my IV glutathione done today, started to feel a hair better but the nurse injected some pain killer in it with about 5 minutes left and it made me feel SOOOO BAD! so it ruined the moment...

I am trying Mangosteen capsules. I had some sort of reaction, but I couldn't tell if it was good or bad.

Lymetoo, can you PM me about the Xango? I've seen it on the net, but it's kind of pricey. I was wondering if it is possible totry a sample first to see if agrees with me before investing such a large amount of $$$.

Robin123,

Your post implies that the lipomas were caused by Lyme. Is that true? If so, I never realized that Lyme causes these things.

I have a huge lipoma on my shoulder that I'm getting removed in 2 weeks. Should I try Mangosteen juice instead? I much rather drink some juice than go through the pain and expense of surgery.

I tried the capsules, which included the pericarp, or rind, which is high in the active ingredients.

I developed kidney pain, and stopped taking it.
Mangosteen is a potent antioxidant.

When I took Resveratrol, I developed kidney pain.
Resveratrol is also a potent antioxidant.

Hmm, can't figure out what is going on there.

I recommend the product and I have no financial interest in it. Many of the folks that recommend it have no financial ties either but there are a few.

If one is curious just ask. There is no scam going on here. Just sharing of information and sincere attempts to help one another. Yes, do your research and make informed decisions with your doc's approval.

This is a good product that we in the lyme community need to know about because it really helps with inflammation. Lyme disease is known to cause chronic inflammation.

I'm just wondering why it can't be sold in a store? Can someone explain please?

It seems if would benefit the maker of this product financially if it was readily available to the public.

Stella:

I believe it will be available in stores some day. Often, a company will sign up people to be distributors as their initial marketing scheme. It is a way to get the product into the marketplace while still making a decent profit.

I signed on as a distributor to be able to get it at a better price. One perk is that when family members order from me I am able to recoup some of my investment to help pay for my personal supply.

I don't really gain financially but, it does help with the high cost of the product. And, it really helps the company to expand their market without the enormous expense of ditribution to retail stores. My best guess is that it will eventually be in stores as the popularity expands. Hence, we, the distributors are furthering that along.

I hope this makes some sense. I signed on because My family and I really like the stuff. It helps with inflammation and digestion for me. And, it tastes pretty darn good. (AM not trying to sell it here).

i just ordered a case of xango off amazon for 130 (includes shipping)
unfortunately i think a lot of us feel sooooooo bad we are willing to try a lot of things we normally wouldnt.

for me its only money, and if it helps, its worth so much more than $$. if it helped one person, than there is a chance it can help others.

does anyone know if this is similar to noni juice?

i will be sure to keep everyone in the loop about the juice.

Could someone PM me with the buying info too?

Does it taste okay or not that pleasant and is it acid or alkaline?

Thank you,

Vanilla

I wish they sold the whole fruit here. I use to eat them every day when I was in Bali. It is one of my favorite fruits. Of course I was not eating the rind but the fruit was tasty.

Its probably not offered in a store because smart companies are now realizing that consumer-consumer marketing grows business faster, more effectively, and is more beneficial than using advertising and store sales. When a good company does this with a good product, you will never find it in a store. Unethical company or not-so-good product, then they may eventually transfer it to a store.

Now off to PM someone to find out more about the Xango.

Absoulutely correct! Beachcomber pretty well summed it up also....but I tend to agree that it will never be sold in stores. Xango LLC has a commitment to its distributors.

You're right. The rind is nasty! That's the beauty of this product. They found a way to make it taste delicious.

We owe that accomplishment to Wild Flavors, who developed the product and partnered with Xango.

They do the flavorings for Nestle, Sobe, Capri Sun, Red Bull, and Kraft to name a few.

Xango is now their #1 product in only 4 1/2 yrs!!

Well, the topic here that never quits...

Yes, Searching, it is still helping everything -- my eyes, intestinal health, gums and probably more I don't even know about. I drink the Ultra mangosteen with the 70 minerals and vitamins added. I order it online from vitacost.

Lyme ED -- I asked my doctor about it and he knew nothing. I spoke with Dr. John Edwards, who works with Xango and he's all for it and puts his patients on it. He has seen cancer, etc go down.

I too have wondered if the pills work. I've not tried it myself. So far, no one has seen any benefit? One advantage: no sugar.

Ok, yours truly finally got a bottle of the Xango to try, at the health Expo we just had last weekend.

This is what I've noticed so far, from sampling it for a couple days: it has given me a headache, so I wonder whether I've really got to drink tons of water with it? And whether this is a detox. So I'm just trying the tiniest little amount now at a time.

And second, I noticed it sharpens my vision even more.

Lipoma question -- yes, I've been told lipomas can go with Lyme. You know, in the very beginning of drinking the mangosteen juice, some lipomas in my calves softened a bit. But then that stopped. Also, the major one in my thigh never did soften.
Since lipomas grow, my vote is to have a lipoma removed when it is smaller rather than larger.

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Robin.... My first three days on Xango produced a nice hefty headache. I hung in there with it and it went away. After that it was smooth sailing.

Toxin clearing for sure!

Something weird happened with my stomach. It was an odd churning sort of feeling. I also got a weird feeling in my head. It wasn't a headache, but just sort of different like something was going on. Nothing else was different. Perhaps if I'd taken more, I would have gotten the headache you spoke of.

An interesting thing happened today. I was at the health food store to get some Primal Defense (this works well for me against yeast) and the manager was giving samples of Mangosteen juice. It was the store brand. He said it contained 40% reconstituted juice. He also said it did not have added water. It was juice from the whole fruit including the rind. Well, my kids and i tasted it. I thought it tasted a lot like agave nectar, but not as sweet. My kids didn't like it, though. It also had elderberry juice in it and that is what they didn't like.

I noticed I had a lot more energy this afternoon compared to yesterday. Could mangosteen work this quickly? Maybe it was just a coincidence. But, if it was the mangosteen, that gave me this extra energy, then it would definitely be worth it!

I didn't buy it because my kids didn't like the taste. Is Xango 100% juice? or is it 40% like this brand is?

Kayda

???????????????

Well it sounds really good but I am still wondering if it is acid or alkaline and come to think of it when I was eating mangosteens every day I was feeling rather healthy and was boogie boarding every day.

?????????????

Lymetoo, thx for clueing me in on the detox effect. I figured as much...

Kayda -- yes, it works quickly. The first time I tried it, it was within that same hour that my eye pain and blurry focus diminished. The second hour, my sinuses ran. 24 hours later, no more dark glasses.

Vanilla -- I would think it's alkalinizing since it's anti-inflam and an anti-oxidant. Also, where were you when you were eating mangosteen fruit every day?

Posted by beachcomber (Member # 5320) on :

Vanilla:

I had systemic Candida. It was nasty. I thought the juice would make it worse. I test my PH most days. Since drinking the juice my PH is much more alkaline. Not sure if this is a coincidence.

I've struggled with candida yeast for years. It has helped with my candida tremendously.

I still have to watch my sugar intake but at least now my stomach feels like it is healing.

Anyone know where I can get Xango in Canada?

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Kayda, I agree with Robin that it sometimes works very quickly.

I think the ph is in the 7. range ... it helps acid reflux, so it's pretty alkaline.

Xango is roughly 80% mangosteen. The other juices are added for TASTE.

Believe me, your kids will like Xango.

Xango is the only mangosteen product that is made from the WHOLE FRUIT PUREE. Read the labels carefully. This makes a big difference.

No extracts.

Has anyone tried Mangosteen 100 and how does it rate vs Xango? Mangosteen 100 is produced by Genesis Today of Austin, TX and I found a 32 ounce bottle in a local health food store for $35.

100% wild harvested Mangosteen juice from Genesis Today's proprietary blend of whole mangosteen fruit, including the thick tough and bitter inner and outer rind (Pericarp) and the snow white fleshy interior (pulp and seeds), providing the highest levels of Polyphenolic compounds known as xanthones.

Information from their website:

Supports healthy COX enzyme, prostaglandin and histamine levels, thereby assisting healthy inflammatory processes*

Supports healthy human immune system function*

Sometimes when you break down the cost of using something daily you can find it of benefit but expensive up front. Well worth the daily cost if you eliminate some of your symptoms.

Lymetoo, how much are you taking daily of Xango? Did you start with the recommended dosage?

Thanks, Pam

My sister tried xango and her hands broke out in blisters so she stopped. I think it was a detox issue especially since her genetic testing came back showing a problem with detoxing biotoxins.

All my siblings and mother are sick so I'm very interested in xango as a way to get them started on something that will help. My brother is a brittle diabetic. For some reason, xango drops his blood sugars way too low and he feels horrible from that. Even happens during the night and he has to get up and eat something. This could be dangerous for a diabetic.

We've dropped his dose of xango and insulin but that has not helped and more than anything he feels that his blood sugars are not stable.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

P.S. Some improvements: better sleep, no vomiting since he's been taking it (he used to vomit all the time), reflux is better, cough is better, less depressed, 3 month blood sugar measurement test run by doc office was much better, so much so that they wanted to know what he is doing to cause this improvement. He has more energy and is able to make it through a grocery shopping trip more often now.

The only experience I've had with a diabetic taking Xango is a friend of mine who took it for her "Fibromyalgia" noticed her diabetic husband was taking it.

His hands were broken out from the diabetes (I know nothing about diabetes so didn't realize it did that) and after taking Xango, they cleared up. She was tickled and shocked to see him taking his Xango regularly. I think he was taking 2 oz. twice a day.

As soon as his hands cleared up, he stopped taking it. Go figure.

But he never had any issues with blood sugar while taking it. It seemed to help him.

Robin, I have started Mangosteen 100 only yesterday and thus nothing profound to report. However, the product does seem genuine as it has a slightly bitter taste and thus seems to have little sugar relative to some of the Mangosteen products diluted with fruit juices (e.g., MangoSteen Juice Blend: 2 grams sugar in 30 ml or 1 ounce). The latter is the only other mangosteen product tried to date.

I took one ounce a day for the first 2 months. Then when mine became free, I started taking 6 oz a day. AWESOME results!!

That copy cat product above looks like it's a very strange color considering that it's supposed to contain the PURPLE/MAROON color of the RIND.

I still believe in the REAL DEAL.

I know for a fact everyone that the Xango has helped LymeTuTu heal dramatically from multiple symptoms, her energy has returned, she looks 10 years younger, and her smile is back. It's amazing and wonderful to see. I can barely remember what it's like to "really" feel happy but I know she is and what a blessing. May we all get well.
