This is sooo not for the faint of heart...

I have been paying attention to the sensations in my head for a long time now (more than I ever would imagine I would find myself doing), since that is where all my symptoms are. I really feel that there is a larger parasite. Sometimes, when things are relatively quiet, i.e. no pain, etc., I feel something moving from place to place. I have a sense that whatever this 'it' is, it is responsible for many of the other problems/microbes (Bb, et al.). I can get the bacterial, spirochete loads down for awhile, with some german isopathics, then it slowly creeps back, and I repeat the process. This keeps me somewhat stable.

I began the salt/c protocol approximately 2 weeks ago... and plan to incorporate ozonated oil, the rizoles, but VERY worried about complications and herxing, how to support the process without going insane.

I used ozonated oil a few years back, before this illness shifted into my head, with success. But I think the microbial/parasitic load was much less. But even then I became very dehydrated and it was difficult. Recently I tried it again, and even worse dehydration! I think there was an almost immediate inflammatory response (perhaps from the endotoxins?). Had to take many doses of zyflammend for several days to stop the inflammation. Also felt something pushing against my eyes. But I did take larger doses then what is suggested for rizoles (was a different protocol).

Perhaps the rizoles are formulated differently?

What is the best way to counter-act inflammatory responses and/or how to clear endotoxins?

And I am so afraid of the herxes during the die-off because it will occur in my head. Will 'it' or they leave a lot of metals, since they absorb so many? Do I need to do heavy metal detox at the same time?

I know that we are not doctors, but any experience anyone has had with this would be greatly appreciated. Feel like I am living inside a Steven King novel. When I was little, I didn't even like the sight of blood.

Thanks.

Hi, Claire -

Now, bear in mind that I have not done the salt/C protocol, nor the isopathics, nor the ozonated oils. So, I should probably shut up and let somebody else answer this post, but.... [Big Grin]

I know you said that you have felt ``it'' moving before, but isn't that one of the key reactions to the salt/C therapy - that people feel things moving around in their bodies, under their skin, etc.?

And I can tell you that I herx on nearly all topical applications of regular essential oils. I have no idea what would happen with ozonated oils. I didn't realize it was a herx until I found out I had Lyme. And whenever I would use "immune support" oils on the back of my neck and my spine, I would start giving off this horrible smell - other people said they could not smell it. It would drive me insane for about 10 days because it was all I could smell. It seemed to be coming not only from my skin, but from my mouth. I always hoped that the horrible smell meant that I was somehow detoxing through my skin, lungs, etc.

So, I think I would be much like you, in that I would be concerned about various reactions to using what may be too many things at once. You might be better off using something like chlorella and/or cilantro to help remove toxins and such.

I wish GiGi would pop on here and give you some info. She has done about everything ``alternative'', and certainly knows her way around the heavy metal issue.

Maybe she will see this when it gets bumped up from my post here.

Hi Clare,

Have you tried colonic therapy to help rinse the bad boys out of the body? Some of us can't stand the thought, but if you can it is a miracle of relief.

I am just struggling back to what passed for normalcy around here after a terrible sickening three weeks or so of toxins and herxing and wishing for death. I read apple pectin encapsulated the toxins and carries them out in fecal mat'l. I was so weak I couldn't do anything, after one colonic and a few more days, I was better and ready to resume the march to wellness.

good luck

Tracy -- Hello! Was surprised to see your post as you seemed to be absent for awhile. Assumed you were out gathering up some more truths for us somewhere.

Yes... I know these sensations are too be expected. But the parasitic aspect of this illness and how to best escort them out, is a little overwhelming and confusing to me at times.

Don't think I am taking too many things... only salt/c and the anti-bacterial isopathic (and the obligatory vitamin mineral supplements, etc).
The rizoles are ozonated oils, which I just recently ordered (have not yet arrived). I think salt/c and these oils are complementary per post by Gigi? Was hoping she might comment too.

I thought about using the essential oils topically instead. Perhaps that is a safer route for me (no ozone). Will keep thinking about it. Have your reactions lesson over time? Surprised that an immune support essential oil would cause such a reaction. Were there anti-microbial herbs in the mix? Do you feel better?

Anyway... as always... thanks for your thoughts.

Lymiebean -- good idea to think about colon cleanse. I think I just don't understand the ebb and flow yet of pushing forth with anti-microbial protocols and general clean-up detoxing, etc. There is still much to understand. I think one of my supplements has apple pectin in it and I know that helps bind or pull undesireables out. Glad you survived your recent battle.

Cave,

Had been told once that the sensations I felt had to do with nerve inflammation and that answer satisfied me for a time. It would give great comfort to still think so. But, in my research, I notice that other people are reporting other possibilities, and that the 'lizards' could be real. Want to be prepared for all possibilities. Both things could be true, also.

Not necessary to be doing my protocols in order to share thoughts of any kind. All are appreciated.

Claire, Robi asked me to respond here. I don't know enough about you. So besides the sensations in the head, you need to tell a bit more. But what you feel is not imagined. Read some of my posts on Parasites; on mercury toxicity; metals and different metals in your mouth; electromagnetic exposure. I used to live with these type sensations and they were not imagined, and they were not caused by the Lyme bacteria. Absolutely not. And antibiotics alone did not fix them either.

Please, feel free to e-mail me or call me if you don't want to go into more detail here. [email protected]

Take care.

Hiya, Claire -

Yes, that makes sense. I think it is confusing for most of us. Do the salt/C protocol people have advice on this?

By the way, are you already up to your full doses of salt and Vitamin C on the protocol?

As far as the ``doing too many things at once'' syndrome, I mentioned it only because this is something I have great experience with. I'm on one kind of ``protocol'', then I start something new, and then I add something else in short order, and then if things fall apart or I have a very positive reaction, I can't be sure which thing brought it about, or was it the combination? So, I tend to confuse myself if I do too many things at one time. And I don't have the benefit of ART or muscle testing or anything like that available. I wish I did.

I wish I had some experience with the ozonated oils. I would not have expected dehydration as a reaction. The inflammation does sound like what I seem to experience at times when using some of the regular essential oils, however.

I stopped using the oils. The main reason is that I began using homeopathics and, as I'm sure you are aware, anything strong-smelling can antidote homeopathic remedies, especially in sensitive individuals. I've read enough accounts of people who had their remedies fail because they were using the oils to convince me that I should do one or the other at this point in time.

Do you think it might be the same with the isopathics - that they can easily be antidoted by strong smells? I would sure be clear on that before I did any oils of any kind.

By the way, the oil I used was YL ImmuPower - Cistus, Frankincense, Hyssop, Ravensara, Mountain Savory, Oregano, Clove, Black Cumin, Idaho Tansy. And then one other time, I think I used just Frankincense. Bear in mind that Frankincense has enormous ability to cross the BBB. And my spinal problems are my worst, so putting this stuff on my spine and up to my occipital lobe was bound to get a reaction. (Drat, I can't seem to find my notes on this so now can't remember all that happened.)

Now, I have a friend with Lupus who has done better after one session of Raindrop Therapy on her back we did several years ago, and ImmuPower is part of that therapy.

This friend also swears by ginger caps to control her inflammation problems. I've tried ginger several times, in different forms, and it always gives me terrible indigestion.

Well, don't know if any of this helps, but it was nice talking to ya! [Smile]

Hi Claire,

I think some type of microfilarial worms can be co-infections with Lyme. Willy Burgdorfer found these in ticks along with Borellia but this finding was ignored. I had the same sensations a lot when I was sick.

Farah,

I think I saw that info on lymephotos.com. I think it was my missing link, as I had not addressed the possibility of the microfilarial worms. Had been more focused on getting bacteria/spirochetes down.

If you are still around, how long was it before you started feeling better with the essential oil? Or perhaps the question is how long before these symptoms began to diminish?

Thanks,

Claire
