Hi All, Does anyone know the effects of tests like CT scans, x-rays, etc. on Lymies compared to other people?
In other words, are we more likely to develop seomthing like cancer due to our suppressed immune systems? I have had three CT scans, a small bowel x-ray, hi x-rays, neck x-rays, chest x-rays, dental x-rays, a HIDA scan and a stomach emptying scan all involving radiation over the years and am wondering if that sets me up for certain development of cancer due to my low CD57 count, etc due to Lyme.
Anyone else wonder about this type of thing or have thoughts on the issue?
Anything one can do to reverse the effects of radiation?
