How much do these things cost? Do you think they are better than Rife?

Tailz, I assume you are asking about the ActiveAir (www.eng3corp.com) I posted about on some of your other comments relating to lack of sex drive, etc., which usually starts with a number of different problems, but for certain lack of blood supply, oxygenation, lack of nitric oxide, and thus lack of nutrients in the right places.

Rife and Active Air are two different animals. Rife kills only pathogens if you are lucky (I myself don't believe it kills only pathogens.)

ActiveAir supplies new life forces that most of us no longer have. Healing starts with a lot more than just the appropriate antibiotics and some supplements which normally do not arrive at the spot intended. Most of us finally arriving at this point are so totally depleted of every resource needed and healing becomes more and more of a struggle because of lowered or reduced cell energy production. Out cells can no longer support their functions, become brittle and leaking and die. Nutrients get lost.

The website gives a lot of information about inhaling activated air a few minutes a day, and you can certainly inquire there about cost, etc.
There are different devices and I am not familiar with all.

Galactose, the sugar, that I have posted about also works in the same direction, i.e. resupplying our body with a nutrient long depleted and absent, so that cell restructuring, cell repair and reactivating is not possible or severely hampered. We stay ill. The constant stress exposure that most Lymies live with usually for years leaves nothing over for repair and rebuilding. All nutrient is used up in plain ordinary energy to keep us at least upright and not too well at that.

I learned a long time ago that we cannot take away and kill and live by taking in toxic drugs and expect to become whole again. It needs a bit of extra support. Insufficient nitric oxide = no good life. We are putting some of this support back into the body and were very surprised as things gradually changed. Some even quicker than gradually.

Take care.

YES. YES. YES. YES. YES.

NO (nitric oxide) is vital!!!

The galactose has me a little jittery though...cataract and cancer issues (linked below) and ...

"In this study the lipids of Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease, were analyzed.

Lipids comprise about 25-30% of the cell dry weight. The lipid fraction could be separated by HPTLC into 11 components. Staining of these components revealed two glycolipids and two phospholipids. The glycolipids represented about 50% of the ***total lipids and comprised

only galactose***

as monosaccharide constituents."
PMID: 11522398

And ...

The aim of this study was to elucidate the nature of complex glycolipids in B. burgdorferi sensu stricto. We found that this strain, in addition to MGalD, also exhibits cholesteryl glycosides cholesteryl 6-O-acyl- -D-galactopyranoside (ACG) and cholesteryl -D-galactopyranoside (CG),

both containing galactose

instead of glucose,

as reported in B. hermsi (6), thus representing a novel class of glycolipids.

Looks like galactose (a sugar) is attached to a protein in Bb's outer wall. Theoretically, a lyme patient might ALREADY have hypergalactosemia if/when the outer wall is damaged/destroyed.

KCL???

With a disruption of the Na-K pump and with what APPEARS to be Na "stuck" in the cells, raising K (more reactive) levels...???

Okay..now gotta be CAREFUL with that electrolyte!!! In lyme, it goes up AT FIRST (Protective measure?), eventually down as we cannot "hold onto" either K or Ca when Mg drops too far.

It has to do with "reactivity"...what electrolyte will react with what acid(s) to produce HYDROGEN.

Flip side (all's fair):

"The PFK activity was significantly *less* in galactose- and ethanol-grown cells."

Since Bb is PFK dependent...???

"Deficiency of galactose conversion enzymes results in accumulation of galactose (from breakdown of lactose).

Excess galactose is converted to galactitol (a sugar *alcohol*). Galactitol in the human eye lens causes it to absorb water and this may be a factor in formation of cataracts."

(I will define some terms in the following.)

"CONCLUSION: D-galactose can induce senescence of the mesenchymal stem cells, and 8 g/L is the best concentration to do so. This study has provided a good model for the research of the mesenchymal stem cells senescence."

Cellular senescence is the phenomenon where

cells lose the ability to divide.

In response to DNA damage (including shortened telomeres) cells either senesce or self-destruct (apoptosis) if the damage cannot be repaired.

Mesenchymal stem cells or MSCs are multipotent stem cells that can differentiate into a variety of cell types. Cell types that MSCs have been shown to differentiate into in vitro or in vivo include osteoblasts, chondrocytes, myocytes, adipocytes, neuronal cells, and, as described lately, into beta-pancreatic islets cells.

Mesenchymal stem cells have been classically obtained from the *bone marrow*,

The data indicate that sugar-protein interactions between a soluble lectin and galacto-components on neutrophil surface trigger the TK pathway, inducing FAK and PI3K activation, interfering with cell motility and oxidative response.

MID: 16183388

TK, I think, is refering to tyrosine kinase.

Re: cancer and galactose:

"Our results suggest that milk fat and/or galactose may explain the association between milk and dairy product consumption and seminomatous testicular cancer."

PMID: 17119045
Cancer Epidemiol ***Biomarkers*** Prev. 2006 Nov;15(11):2189-95

Keep in mind, Bb might not be the ONLY pathogen that uses "sugars" and ultimately triggers cancer (takes a LONG time for this to happen, normally!)

P.S. there is a CO2 link also and CO for lung issues...albeit a "tad" too dangerous!!! (understatement!) The complexity of this has my mind swimming. I can only imagine how you all feel...YIKES!

Marnie, the information I have posted over the last few weeks, many pages of it,
was sent to me by the Director Professor of the source you have quoted:
From the Institut fr Mikrobiologie und Hygiene, Universittsklinikum "Charit," Medizinische Fakultt der Humboldt-Universitt zu Berlin, Dorotheenstrasse 96, D-10117 Berlin, Germany and the Division of Immunochemistry and Junior Research Group Innate Immunity, Research Center Borstel, Liebniz Center for Medicine and Biosciences, Parkallee 22, D-23845 Borstel, Germany

J. Biol. Chem., Vol. 278, Issue 36, 33645-33653, September 5, 2003

They have been exploring Galactos/sugars for many years. The information I have posted is a very recent development. It was an "accidental" discovery.

A certain type of Galactose - and only that type of Galactose, as it is employed now, is very effective against cancer, especially. If you have read some of the case histories that were sent to me by the Director (professor and medical doctor), you would probably come to the same conclusion as I did when I first read it: It would be a miracle if these patients didn't also have a "hidden" Lyme infection. Everyone on Galactose (99.9% pure), even the most severe cases (brain tumors) and Alzheimers, fibro, pains, neuro problems, seems to respond positively. I hope to have a chance to talk or correspond further with Dr. R. and will let you know. Right now I am catching a ride to what I hope to be a fun evening!

Take care.

So you don't think the Rife I ordered is worth it? I get mixed reviews on Rife, and money is tight. Would I be better off getting the Active Air instead?

I did send them an email inquiring about the prices - no response yet.

Will NO fix my pupils so light can get in again?

Will it fix my dead nerves or whatever is causing sexual dysfunction?

I never heard of that sugar - gotta research it because I think I have a candida problem, too.

Certain foods can increase NO, too:

Keep arteries open. The latest scientific buzz says you must be concerned about your "vascular function" -- how your arteries dilate and contract.

Good vascular function lets blood flow smoothly to the heart and brain. And that is primarily accomplished by release of a chemical, nitric oxide, in the cells of blood vessel walls.

Many foods stimulate release of nitric oxide, says David Fitzpatrick at the University of South Florida Medical College. "That may explain why they are associated with less artery clogging," he says.

In a recent analysis of 150 foods, Fitzpatrick identified the best blood-vessel dilators as:

apple skin and pulp, peanuts (particularly with red skin), cinnamon, tea (green tea was one-third better than black tea), purple grape juice and red wine (particularly cabernet sauvignon).

Fitzpatrick notes that the same chemicals in these foods also reduce LDL oxidation and blood-clotting.

In other research, both omega-3 oil in fatty fish and vitamin C at doses of 500 to 1,000mg daily tended to keep arteries open and functioning properly, even reversing narrowing caused by high fat intake.

Marnie

Reading over your last post again, sorry to say, I do not understand who said what, whom you are quoting as having researched what. I am not able to follow or make sense of chopped up commentary/sentences. My brain does not work that way.

It would be nice if you quoted the full article of whatever set you off as being "jittery". Then Ialso might be able to make some sense out of what you say. You are doing mental gymnastics which I am unable to follow. Please know that I work with a very simple brain.

Please give source/link and/or full text, so that my simple mind can get a clear picture of what you are trying to say.

Selma added a great article to my post "Why Use Galactose when chronically ill?" on Galactose.

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=050278#000017

The only trouble with galactose from food is that an ill person who has suffered extended stress, probably for years, is so depleted, one would have to eat a basket of apples every day to get the average amount of galactose needed (i.e. 9 g total per day) at least for a months or so.

Another problem is digestion/ absorption of food and the galactose reaching the body compartments where needed. Only ``99.9% pure Galactose'' works. Not lactose, or milk or fruit. It is clearly explained by the researchers why not. Please read it -.

Micul posted on lactose, yoghurt, etc. That does not work in this case. Only the fine powder with a slighly sweet taste and so easy to take works. 3 g is about the tip of the little finger of a small hand.

Marnie, please read at least one of my earlier posts completely, before you start getting nervous and start pulling things apart while you are not fully informed of the available science/research. The articles are directly from the researchers. I did not find them somewhere googling on the internet. They were sent directly to me. Straight out of the horse's mouth.

The subject of Galactose is very much on researchers' minds - see the symposium here. They were in Zurich talking about the very subject just this October. Pull up Dr. Reutter's power point presentation. Parts are in German, but most is easily understood.
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.seniorweb.ch/index.php%3Fv%3D1%26idns_tree%3D2715%26v_mode%3Dfwd%26v_x_col%3D0%26fwd_idns_tree%3D4419&sa=X&oi=transla te&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2BZfP%2BZuerich%2BAlzheimer%2BReutter%2BMosetter%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26sa%3DG

It just so happens that Galactose works positively in many diseases.

Take care.

Well, Good People, this is all very interesting. I read a book some years back about L-Argenine which said essentially the same thing about NO and said a valuable source could be the aminino acid L argenine. I wonder what your thouths are about that. Cheers.

Yes, Arginine can trigure a frenzy of activity with certain pathogens, Mycoplasmas being one of "them.

"Mycoplasmas are parasitic in nature because they rely on the nutrients found in host cells including cholesterol, amino acids, fatty acids and even DNA. They especially thrive in cholesterol rich and arginine-rich environments. Mycoplasmas can generally be found in the mucous membrane in the respiratory tract. They need cholesterol for membrane function and growth, and there is an abundance of cholesterol in the bronchial tubes of the respiratory tract. Once attached to a host cell, they then begin competing for nutrients inside the host cells. As nutrients are depleted, then these host cells can begin to malfunction, or even change normal functioning of the cell, causing a chain reaction with other cells (especially within the immune and endocrine systems). Mycoplasmas can even cause RNA and DNA mutation of the host cells and have been linked to certain cancers for this reason. Mycoplasmas can also invade and live inside host cells which evade the immune system, especially white blood cells. Once inside a white blood cell, mycoplasmas can travel throughout the body and even cross the blood/brain barrier, and into the central nervous system and spinal fluid."

http://www.rain-tree.com/myco.htm

"Approximately 60-70% of Lyme Disease patients also have mycoplasmal infections (Mycoplasma fermentans > Mycoplasma hominis > Mycoplasma pneumoniae, M. genitalium, M. penetrans, other species). In some cases multiple mycoplasmal infections can be present in Lyme Disease patients. The presence of mycoplasmal infections complicates the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease, and some of the generalized signs and symptoms found in Borrelia-positive patients are also found in mycoplasma-positive patients "

Dear Members and Noble Gigi:

We are not talking about mycoplasmas here. From what I read L-argenine benefits the body in all kinds of ways, as does all the other methods by which nitric oxide can be delivered into the functioning bioshphere of the body. I should think it could greatly help all of us suffering from the attentions, tender though they are, of our dear friends Boris and Myrtle Burgdorferi, whom we all want to be sent on to their reward beyond this life. What better way to do it than with nitric oxide or some such, say I, or indeed with anything that works.

Right now I am very, very sick. I cannot take abx without getting deathly ill. I cannot not take abx without wishing I were dead as I get deatly ill. so there you are.

so most noble Gigi, as I am giving consideration to getting a Rife Machine would you kindly e mail me or reply here as to what you think is wrong with it. Also what about this active air business. Now you will kindly excuse me. I am brain dead for the afternoon and B and M are having New Year's parties early in their little love nests in the lining of my stomach. GERD is not much fun either. Cheers.

From my research, Arginine can support herpes-type viruses, but this is the first I've heard about mycoplasma. One of my doctors told me that I can take as much l-arginine (AAKG formulas) as I like to increase NO and blood flow. For a long time before I was diagnosed with lyme I was taking l-arginine for its energy producing properties, but I can't compare how I felt then (untreated) to how I feel now of course.

I wonder what the proper course of action is here. There seems to be equal support and antagonism for the use of Arginine.

To the Honorable Thomas Parkman and of course all of you

Why don't I like Rife ? (I do very much respect Dr. Rife.)

I don't care to use Rife because of the type of current used and because the electromagnetic exposure that also comes along with it. I don't want just a killing machine. I want an immune modulator, I want a lymphatic drainage frequency, I want every possible frequency known to man as being a part of any chronic disease --- preprogrammed by pressing one button! Further - I posted this a long time ago - there are other reasons why I don't want to use Rife as an ongoing therapy:

The healing potential of any electromagnetic device depends on several
things: the amount of voltage used; the amperage used - those are the two parameters that define a current; and the wave form. We know that if we bombard the system with a strong current - if we put a strong current on the skin, the body works like a Faraday cage; that means none of the current is penetrating the body, and consequently floats on the outside of the body through the skin into the ground, or wherever the person is touching.

The art in this technology is to design a current that actually doesn't flow around the body, but through the body. The objective with deep healing is that we want to reach inside the cells of the body. To do that, the current has to be very weak, has to be in a biological range. If the current is too strong, it is deflected by the cell wall. If it has a certain biological range, it will penetrate through the cell wall into the cell and can reach the cell organelles.

The currents should be pulsed. There are wave forms where the current rises very sharply and then drops off slowly; then there is a pause, and it rises and it drops. If we give the body a constant current, the current simply is deflected off the skin, travels in the skin, and just never reaches into any deep tissue.

So it needs to be pulsed and the rise and the pulse decide which part of the cell it is reaching, whether it travels inside the cell or outside the cell.

These are just some basic principles: The KMT device we have uses the most sophisticated harmonious frequency patterns, four carrier waves, that has these different kinds of pulse raises in it, different kinds of amperages, different kinds of voltages, that create a synergistic, harmonious frequency pattern that penetrates the body very easily and reaches the cell organelles.

We know from a lot of research that we can stimulate the mitochondria to create ATP outside the cell; we know we can sedate the autonomic nervous system, etc. Wave patterns are spiked with other wave patterns that are the inhibitory frequencies for these microorganisms

So it is two things in one: Stimulating the cell's own health; the normalization and balancing of the autonomic nervous system; lymph drainage; increasing blood flow in the tissue; and at the same time inhibiting the growth of these undesirable microorganisms.

Of course, of great importance is the selection of published microbial inhibition frequencies that have been found most recently and over the last 50 years to inhibit the growth of certain undesirable microoranisms prevalent in many chronic illnesses and of course in all Lyme patients. These are all being addressed with the KMT technology.

How does it work? In Dr. K.'s words,''I believe that with this we are not killing anything. I do not believe that we are having a direct effect on the microorganisms through this instrument and through this setting. I believe that this is a cellular entrainment method.

We know from Dr. Fritz Popp's research that our immune cells and our body cells are constantly emitting complex frequency accords into their environment, one, to communicate with each other and also to repel offensive hostile microorganisms. What we are doing basically - we are teaching our cells and the body to remember those frequencies again, to learn how to use them, and this is called entrainment.''

To give you a short example of that, Dr. K. tells, - if we hear a song, Germans know about entrainment, because in the beer tents in Bavaria we hear these songs and after a while our body starts doing this (swinging back and forth) with our neighbors; then we go home and three days later we are still doing this swinging.... This is what entrainment is. Nobody really knows where in the body that is.

We believe that every cell pulses at a certain rhythm, multiple rhythms, and we are giving the body and making an offer to learn a new set of rythms. Once the cells start doing that, the microorganisms simply disappear. They are all short-lived - they only live for a few days, and then they have to make babies in order to perpetuate their presence in the body. If we inhibit their fertility to some degree, they will slowly go away and our own system emerges. It has been very dramatic to have something like that, so simple, work so effectively for multiple illnesses and
Conditions.

I know there are many people that disagree with me and my doctor. We all have a choice and are hopefully able to make the right decision that will benefit us in the long run. I don't like spending money on devices that are only good for the ``now'' moment.

Then you asked what is this ActiveAir about:
The stack of copies scientific research on that subject is about 5" high sitting on my desk.

First, what makes ActivatedAir different from conventional oxygen therapies? I will quote the people who have done the research. There are a couple of other posts by me on Lymenet talking about this subject.

``Often patients are given oxygen which is generally concentrated and sometimes ionized, with the purpose of activating the metabolism. However, it is doubtful if this process (apart from use in anaesthetics, emergencies, intensive medicine or for specil lung diseases) is really practical to treat chronic illness.

Why should the body be supplied with more oxygen when it can only utilize a small part of the natural oxygen in the air?

Oxygen should not be ``forced'' into the organism with what are sometimes relatively complex methods. In this process the ``oxygen threshold'', which is a natural protective barrier against the formation of O2 radicals, is often exceeded. Administering high concentrations of oxygen via inhalation, IV or IM (30 to 100%) can lead to undesired and health damaging reactions, in particular, to excessive oxidative processes and breaking of the DNA double-strand.

Conventional oxygen therapies increase oxidative stress on the organism rather than reducing it.

This is where ActiveAir is different: the organism is not fed high concentrations of oxygen, not chemically modified
Oxygen.

Instead, oxygen is prepared in a biophysical manner so that the organism can better utilize its energy. After the body's initial adjustment period, no side effects are known, reported or expected due to the physiological way in which ActivatedAir works.

The positive effects of Activated Air on the metabolism can be utilized for many different chronic illnesses, such as:

Circulatory problems
Heart and vascular Illnesses
Exhaustion
Chronic tiredness
Diabetes mellitus tyupes I and II
Multiple Chemican Syndrome (MCS)
Burnout syndrome
High cholesterol
Bronchitis, lung diseases
Chronic fibromyalgia
Rheumatic complaints
Visual problems
Acute and chronic pain
Metabolic disorders of the liver
Skin diseases
Sleeping problems
Lack of concentration
High blood pressure
Allergies
Age-related illnesses (Parkinson's Alzheimer's)
Tinnitus

Amazing successes may also be achieved for clinical purposes which which no established therapy exists, such as fibromyalgia or age-related maculat degeneration.

In addition to the use for chronic illnesses, Activated Air is also ideal for preventive use, to increase performance (scuh as in sports), and last but not least to generate an anti-aging effect.

I want to add here that last night we had invited a young friend in his thirties who had suffered from Lyme and associated problems for several years. He again came in telling the usual ``the top of my head feels like under pressure, about to burst'' and ``my lower back is still so bad''.

We offered him to use our Active Air for a trial. He used it for 2x20 minute sessions while we were sitting talking, with the Light Therapy(that is part of the device) like an 8'' high bubbling fountain changing from one rainbow color to the next while breathing in the Activated air. I fed him a meal, he went home. He just called me now to tell me wondering what happened - ``my lower back pain is almost gone, and so is the severe pressure in my head''. I didn't know what to say - but we invited him to stop by again to get himself another treatment.

www.eng3corp.com

My husband and I use it almost daily - watching, reading, talking and we both love it.
To the people who are still very toxic: you are going to detox and mop-up agents are in order. And don't overdo it. We were well detoxed - the major loads gone - and we started in at 20 minutes once or twice a day - whatever we feel like.

Take care, and I hope you will feel better soon.

P.S. For all other info, go to the link. They have different size devices and I am not that familiar with the finer details. We just know that we do not want to be without our ActiveAir any longer. It will turn out to be one of the ``best investments we ever made'' like some garden chairs we bought 25 years ago which are still beautiful today!!!! There are other devices with similar technology, other makes. My personal favorite part of the device is the Light Therapy (which can be set to a certain color, if necessary, for specific detoxing requirements; i.e. indigo would fall into the metal detox, etc. Or you can just enjoy the ever-changing rainbow bubble while you take in the "air".

P.P.S. Did you take care of the situation you e-mailed me about early in the year?

99% of the population has EBV and/or CMV exposure. Anyone who has ever had Mono, for instance. One thing about L-arginine, is that it is incredibly dehydrating. Athletes and bodybuilders that use it are advised to drink lots of water. Also, it may take a week or two for your body, especially your gut, to get used to it. Some combinations cause people to feel bloated or gassy, but that is usually transient, at least in my experience.

I think my neurologist told me that a huge percentage of people would test positive for EBV. The CMV one is new to me. Do Rife Machines come with a frequency for CMV?

I'm a little nervous about the electromagnetic waves, too. Maybe I would be better off with the Active Air.

Which model do you have? I've emailed them twice now to get a price, but nothing yet. Can you give me a ballpark?

I'm just desperate. I know I have metals, too. Do you notice a difference with the color therapy Active Air comes with?

I have posted above and in other posts telling about the use of Galactose in chronic situations, and I am not going to repeat it here.

But I just had a message from Dr. Reutter of the Berlin Charite University, the researcher/scientist/medical doctor, that in practice (Dr. Mosetter) they have "unexpectedly" had good experiences/results with three MS cases. I have posted a number of their case histories, including M. Alzheimer and M. Parkinson, Fibromyalgia, pain problems, memory, mood, etc.

www.myoreflex.de is often used in combination with the intake of Galactose (99.9% pure only).

Interesting, to say the least and food for thought.

Take care.
