Just a note that Vitacost does not refrigerate
any probiotics. I did not know, I called to
confirm that my order would be shipped with
ice packs. They said it was not necessary, that's
when I asked about the storage. No refrigeration
for any products there. Great in the summer eh?

Too bad Healthy Trinity was like 1/2 the reg price - with probably no viable bacteria left.
Natren says this product should not be out of
the fridge for more than 7 days tops.

Lisi,

I know I have been using IHerb for several years
They always ship with Ice Packs and probiotics
are in a fridge at the warehouse. Excellent customer service if you have any problems.

I just thought Vitacost had suchaa good deal on the Healthy Trinity. Back to IHerb!

I called them since I like to buy from them as well. They said the manufacturers have told them they don't need to refrigerate while in the warehouse. I told them that I see different instructions on various probiotics and I mentioned the brand that you were interested in and how it shouldn't be out of refrigeration for more than 7 days.

The lady I talked to said she would pass the info on to her supervisor. In the past I have made several suggestions to them on products that I wanted them to sell and also asked them to list ingredients several years ago. They did implement those suggestions. Don't know if they were going to anyway or not but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask for the probiotics to be refrigerated and shipped with ice. I told her people in our situation (who must have viable probiotics) usually buy from companies that ship with ice and keep products that need to be refrigerated in the refrigerator.

We'll see what happens.
Terry
