Does anyone know of an alternative of getting rid of the yeast from your body? I saw one of those yeast cleansing thing at the health food store and was wondering if it helps to get rid of the yeast?

Also, is it normal to have depression and anxiety with lymes disease? I am starting to get this very bad and I don't want to be put on antidepressants, I want to do this the natural way. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you

I've had good success battlig yeast with Cumanda. It's an herb you can buy through the Nutramedix website.

I'm using it under supervision of a doctor.

diet helps me alot as well as some supps .
Some people have had success with the following :

olive leaf extract
garlic
Pau D Arco tea
oil of oregano
extra virgin coconut oil
calprylic acid
grapefruit seed extract
taking good pro-biotics are essential.

diet overall has made the most difference. Here's a link for some more ideas:

Yes. I have had major depression & anxiety with my lyme along the way. But it did get much better over time with treatment.

Hang in there [group hug]

this isn't medical advise just my 2 cents

Garlic and capryllic acid works for me for yeast. For vaginal yeast (which I think means you have it worse in the gut and should treat the gut infestation of yeast with one or more of the remedies above), I use boric acid suppositories, which are cheaper and seem to work better than anything packaged for this purpose.

I once did a google search for 'boric acid candida safety' and 'boric acid candida side effects' and didn't find anything indicating it's unsafe , and all my gynecologists have agreed it's harmless, when I"ve asked them.

You buy boric acid powder that's sold for eye problems- not all drug stores have it but if you ask the pharmacist that's where they sell it sometimes- and some empty capsules such as from a health food store.

you fill the capsules with boric acid powder, and insert one or two at night like you would a regular yeast infection remedy such as nystatin suppositories.

caution: The boric acid is poisonous if swallowed so make sure you store the capsules where kids can't get to them, and where you can't get confused about what they are.
