I recently did this panel from Diagnostechs and found it to be very useful. It identifies some food allergies, bacteria, fungal infections, as well as a number of parasites. The test looks for Giardia, Tapeworm, Ascaris, Toxoplasmosis, Entamoeba histolytica, Crypto, etc.
Since the test uses saliva IgA as well as stool, it appears to have a better chance of finding some issues which may otherwise not be identified.
I would be interested in hearing from people that have used this test.

They did. Negative via stool but positive via IgA. That said, ART revealed it as well prior to this latest test.
Lyme seems to be a somewhat lesser issue as my CD57 has gone from 84 to 134 recently. However, Babesia, Ehrlichia and a number of parasites are still lurking.... So, on to the next steps... Posted by Jill E. (Member # 9121) on :

I haven't used it (I recently did the Great Smokies/Genova CDSA with parasite panel). But a Lyme pal did it - she does not post on Lyme groups so I am just passing along what she told me.
Her LLND who is really up on the latest tests and protocols, used it because she has developed GI pain and symptoms. The tests didn't identify what the cause is - the LLND and patient are still kicking around lots of options - but it did rule out several potential culprits.
I've used Diagnos-Techs for their adrenal saliva panel and found it helpful.
Congratulations on the improvement in your CD57. I need to do a follow-up one. I can only hope mine is going in the right direction!

I did the expanded diagnos-tech GI panel in 2003. All of my tests results were abnormal.
Which suprised me. I've spend much time in Asia. I had a number of digestive issues. A fecal fat analysis showed excess fat and starches indicating malabsorption or maldigestion. My weight fell to 84 lbs in 2004.
During my first visit with my LLMD in 2005, he found a number of parasites in my liver, gallbladder, spleen, and small intestines using kinesology.
With treatment I've gained about 12 pounds, most of it in the last four months.

I had this panel done in December and it came back showing I had a toxmoplasma infection, as well as, sensitivities to egg, soy and gluten. Prior to this I don't think the toxmoplasma had shown up when I was tested. So, I agree, a useful test.
A different doctor recently ordered the Diagnos-Tech panel looking at hormones and thyroid levels for me, so I can let you know how that one turns out next week

roxithromycin, a macrolide, is supposedly successful for toxoplasmosis.
any comment, leads, links, and/or files on roxithromycin for tx of toxoplas.?
