Can lyme disease cause your liver enzymes to be elevated and your B12 levels to be lowered?

Lyme can affect your ability to absorb so b12 levels could be lower. Lyme can effect every organ. In my case the liver enzymes were elevated due to antibiotics. My b12 had to be given sublingually or by shot for a few years.
Liver enzymes can be elevated if you have Celiac as can b12 absorption. Probably would be a good idea to give up gluten. You can run that by your doc. Is the doc going to run some additional tests?
My liver enzymes and b12 are normal now.

Absolutely.
Bb is fermenting sugar -> ethanol (alcohol).
To breakdown alcohol we need a specific liver enzyme...alcohol deyhdrogenase.
Men have more than women do.
Which is why they usually can drink more than girls can.
To a degree, vitamin E will help to protect the liver. A natural kind which I have mentioned repeatedly here.
Or...as the Romans did...eat almonds. Unsalted, but with that brown "skin".
Olive oil should help too. In Italy, it is common to be offerred green olives at "happy hour" and even for BREAKFAST!
B12 is believed to protect the brain from excess L-dopa (dopamine). B12 is also linked to the production of acetylcholine.
And much more....
We know Bb is using C-acetyltransferase...
This enzyme is needed to make acetylcholine.
Bb wants choline.
We need it too.
Vegetarians become deficient, although the body can store up to 5 years worth of B 12.

This bloodwork was ordered by my Endocrinologist. During my time of being treated for lyme, I developed Type 2 Diabetes. I have not been back to my LLMD lately for trying to get the diabetes along with other problems under control. I've had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, barium enema, along with other tests done, and no one can seem to find out why my liver enzymes keep going up and my B12 keeps going down.

I could't get my b12 numbers to come up without the shots to begin with then I switched to b12 sublingual methylcobalamin the cyanocobalamin (common) did nothing for me.
Are you doing any detoxing?
For me - although I tested negativein conventional medical tests for Celiac, I had some alternative tests that said I was sensitive to gluten. I think the detoxing and giving up gluten were key.

Yes, but the liver enzymes can also go up from toxicity from drugs.
