Has anyone on this message board recovered from Lyme (and maybe even some coinfections) from just the use of herbs ? I am currently reading Buhner's "Healing Lyme" book and it looks very promising.

There are many who have had good results with herbs, and this topic has surfaced many times. If you try the search feature it will lead you to previous post about this topic and hopefully help you with your question.
Just want say that I am also reading the book for the 2nd time and it does sound very promising. There are many on this board who have been helped by abx also, and rife....there are several options that people have had results with but everyone is different...

I guess the jury is still out on that one. Zhang's herbs have been around a long time. Most who use herbs use other things too, so it's hard to say if anyone has been "cured" with only herbs.
I wouldn't take my chances on it.

Jim Bob has mostly recovered from antibiotics.
There are MANY who have posted here that Buher's protocol has made a HUGE difference for them after relapsing from ABX . Others here relapsed after ABX and then finally became well with rife and herbs.
Just my opinion , but itlooks to me like those who finally get better attack lyme with EVERY tool they can employ .
I am not personally optimistic about recovering with solely using antibiotics . There are sooooooooooo many here who have been on multiple combinations of antibiotics FOR YEARS who get better but eventually relapse if they stop the drugs .
Some use herbs alone; others with antibiotics and rife .

Count me in on one who thought I was "cured" after antibiotics, now all the symptoms are back. It is depressing, I just don't want to do the antibiotics again. I am worried about trying herbs too, because I don't know how I'll react. This all is very sad, I think. Thanks to all of you for keeping hope alive. I'm going to buy the book and read. Do you think that there is any one herb you think we absolutely should try? Some "natural antibiotic". The problem with herbs is that people advocate taking 30 different kinds, and that is too much to me. Does anyone take a low does maintenance antibiotic, that just keeps the lyme at bay? You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

I know one person locally who got better using cats claw and colostrum but he was in my "not-so-bad" category meaning he was still walking*!)*)!!
Other than him I know no one personally who has gotten into or near full remission (and he was not full remission) just using herbs. I do know people who have used both herbs and abx and done so! AND I do have a great deal of hope for the new Buhner protocols! I HOPE they work and get people into full remission- but I haven't seen that yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The people I know who have gotten into full remission relied primarily on abx and most of them DID do herbs and supplements and other things like acupuncture-!!! I hope a chepa and easy herbal regimen DOES come along and work- if it did I would rec'd it to every newbie- ubt for now, I still rec'd what I see works- abx. But the Buhner protocols seem to be helping people!

Buhner's core protocol is really pretty simple ( four herbs and the main " killer " is andrographis ) and there are people who get better with LOW doses .
Get a copy of " Healing Lyme " by Stephen Buhner @ Amazon. I have read several testimonies of people who swear by the andrographis , feeling it was responsible for turning them around .
These herbs are POTENT and have been used for serious diseases by doctors in other countries . They would probably be used here if health care and pharma people could find a legal way to gouge us .
Another option to consider is rife . Ernie also relapsed with lyme , and eventually recovered and is doing great , climbing mountains. There are many people here who feel rife machines are more effective than ABX .
I am going to try it eventually after I get further down the road with Buhner's protocol.
Another option ( cheap ) is the Salt /C protocol , which some use with rife and herbs.
I personally do not think many cures come with sole use of ABX .
