I am noticing a sense of altered taste since taking these core herbs. I am also not very hungry .

Anyone else noticing that their taste seems altered with the herbs?

I guess I could call it an altered sense of taste. I am finding, just being on his liver herbs and Japanese Knotweed, that I am herxing.

My appetite and desire for food is definitely not what it was. I also notice a bad taste in my mouth at times - this happens whenever I am detoxing something ie:candida, so I am assuming it is true with this

Ann and Wenan, I don't know about taste changes, but I know that when I was starting to really get well, my appetite just came back to normal suddenly.

I think that when we're very toxic we eat more (or crave more), like the body is trying to figure out what to ingest that will bind bad toxins (even metals). My own theory.

I was always a big eater while with lyme, having to take so many meals a day not to collapse. One day, the hunger stopped. I never gained any weight, on the contrary, I lost slowly weight.

Now I can stay even 6 hours without anything (capsules included) and not feel dying like before! And slowly gaining weight again (I'm trying to reach a 'normal' person's weight).

So it could be good news, the normal appetite. But don't be discouraged if hunger comes back. When I'm on metal detox, I know I 'll get hungry again. It doesn't mean a relapse! It could mean excess of toxins. Just in my experience, of course.

Are you two feeling good and think this appetite loss is positive?? Just curious.

Thanks for the feedback !! I also have a funny taste in my mouth, and can not tell if it is from the resveratrol , or the andro .

My food does not taste good at all . However, I am desperate to feel better and will persevere . I would gladly give up good tasting food to feel well.
