Babesia, Herpes Virus 6 antibody and Ehrlichia are all right on th line of reference range.
Every since I was put on abx last month I have been having terrible chest pains and asthma.
Feels like someone is always sitting on my chest and my upper back and sternum hurt.
I cough and react with asthma like symptoms to glutathione and Amantadine.
Had to be taken off both. I,m out of breath.
Last night I had to sit propped up on pillows to sleep. it helped with my chest pain.
I see my LLMD on Wed. morning to go over test results.
Anyone have experience with this stuff?
I,m tempted to see a cardiologist for a workup. I,m 48 yrs old.

What meds are you currently on?
Babesia can cause chest pain and coughing, etc. Are you being treated for that right now??
Also, is your diet good? No sugar, white foods, etc? You could get systemic yeast while on abx if you are not watching your diet.
A workup by a cardiologist may be a good idea.

I had chest pressure like you describe while on doxy. It would come and go and often wake me from sleep, It would get real scary.
For me, I dont know what it was, yeast, lyme, or babs.
I do know I dont get it any more and it was the worst while on doxy.
To be safe, i agree with lymetoo, you may want to see a cardiologist.

Right now I am only on Azithromycin 500mg daily and weekly nutritional anti-viral IV's plus some psych meds.
Lots of supplements. I react to everything and we have had to be careful.
I am not being treated for Babs. These results just came back today. We'll see what the LLMD wants to do on Wed.'s appt.
My LLMD is really pushing for SSDI. She said we are in for a long haul but she thinks she can get me back in the game of life after about 2 years.
I'm a Certified Nutritional Consultant. I'm a health nut when it comes to food. Only organic, whole food, nothing processed.
We are watching and have tested for yeast and I,m doing well in that dept.
I,m scared I am going to be sick forever and ever and ever.....

Cathy - get treated for Babesia first - Mepron and Zithromax together...the zithromax assists in not allowing a resistance to build up to the Mepron.
I had all of those symptoms early on with my fight with lyme and other coinfections and it was definitely the Babesia which was creating those symptoms. I had what the med. doctors thought was asthma until they treated me with albuterol and it didn't help a bit.
Take care and get treatment for this as soon as you can.

Amantadine is an antiviral -- probably too much for you to handle right now.
I agree that if you have Babesia it needs to be treated. If your worst symptoms are Babesia related then that is the infection I would go after first.
The sternum pain may be costochondritis -- this is an inflammation where the breastbone connects to the ribs. Common symptom of many tickborne patients. Hubby has had this in the past -- used to flare up every time he started a new antibiotic.
It might be advisable to see a cardiologist at this point. Sounds like your bacterial load is very high which generally means you need to go very slow with treatment unless you have some very severe symptom such as endocarditis which needs quicker treatment.

P.S. I actually think it is good that you have so many positive test results -- means your immune system is active and producing antibodies. At least you are no longer in the dark about what infections you have. Hubby produces very few antibodies or they are bound up with immune complexes -- has taken years to discover some of his infections.
