I've been on antibiotics for 5 mos now (Amox. and now Biaxin). I only go a couple of wks without symptoms and then they flare again. This past week was bad - muscles all feel 'worn out' and I have numbness in my 1 foot and hand. Very odd feeling. Can the antibiotics be working and still have really bad symptoms? Could the fact that they are working CAUSE the symptoms?

Sauceman- It is pretty common to have ups and downs. I'd talk to your doc because it may be time to switch combinations. Are you also doing some sort of detoxing regimen?

Have you been tested for co-infections??
Tests aren't that reliable, but you may want to ask your LLMD if you are showing symptoms of any.
