Ever since Lyme ruined by once healthy immune system...I get repeated boils. Since I have become allergic to almost all antibiotics right noe, does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried hot compress, but still not gone after 5 days now.

Perhaps you can put Tea Tree oil on it?

It's works for me for lots of skin stuff. Boils, pimples, etc. ...

Benadryl cream worked for me, but I never tried tea tree oil, maybe I will try that next time. Maybe even coconut oil would work too?

I hate those nasty boils.

I use colloidal siver topically on resistent infections. I use a few drops in the ears when we get ear infections, and it works quickly. It has even worked for me on those nasty underground zits. I hope your boils get better soon. Ouch!

Several years ago (prelyme), I had a few boils. They hurt very badly. This stuff cleared them up over the course of a day or two.

Get some gauze and tape also. You slather this stuff on and then cover the whole mess with a large bandage. Next day or two and the boil is empty.

This stuff is amazing!!!!!! Iccthanmmol is the ingredient that does the trick. Your local pharmacy should have it.

Hopes this helps,
robi

robi,

i remember using the icthammol before lyme also
black tarry ointment - right?

it works well for my topical infections- the pharmacist usually has it behind the counter - no prescription needed.

thanks

You can also find icthamol in an over the counter tube of goo called Boil Ease. I have found it at any drugstore.

Cover it with gauze or a bandage. It draws the boil to a head so it can release.

You can use a hot pack and/or a drawing salve, which I think is what people mentioned above.

Cheers,

Alison

Bag Balm I have had these eruptions since being on mepron had 4 of them one a month. I put alcohol on them then after it drys I put bag balm on them they cleared up in about a week the top of the boil area will turn soft thin and then break and then you need to clean and re-apply bag balm it worked great for me.

I only ever had one or two of these in my life then when I was on mepron I would get one a month. If you can catch them early say when the area just starts getting red or inflammed I stopped two different ones 2 different times on my right cheek next to my nose.
