Welcome to the joys of the yellow paint!
You might want to start slow and ramp up, if your LLMD advocates doing that. I didn't, and it hit like a ton of bricks.
You've probably read all this, but don't forget to take your Mepron with some fat to help absorption.
The patient insert says 20 grams of fat, so I tend toward butter on veggies or something along those lines. Some people take it with fish oil, which is a good idea, too.
The only no-nos I know of are milk thistle & CoQ10, although I've also heard that almond butter can interfere with absorption as well. Till it's verified one way or the other, I avoid that, too.
Keep us posted on how you're feeling...

My first month on Mepron/Biaxin/doxy/artemisia, I felt better than I felt for years. I started at 15%, and went up to 25%. Now I'm about 60% on a good day.
Then I started on Omnicef in addition to those and felt bad from that. I'm on a slightly different protocol now, but still the Mepron/Biaxin/Artemisia.
I herx about every 24 days. Herxes are bad, but I always see improvement afterward.
I use a lot of coconut oil. It's fat, that the Mepron needs, and it kills candida.

My best advice is to hang in there if you herx --
the rewards (feeling better) are worth it.
The first week or so on malarone was OK, and then I herxed for about 7 weeks.
Malarone has the same active ingredient as mepron, so the effects may be related.
Best to give up drinking alcohol altogether while in babs and lyme treatment, though I allow myself a glass of wine or drink each month....
Get more rest and take it easy during the first month if posslble.
