Hello all.

It has been a very long time since I have posted with LymeNet or even been here.

Anyway, I am in search of suggestions for how to cover my pic line. I have been using a sock and it looks pretty tacky.

So if anyone has any better ideas what to do, I would sure appreciate it.

Oh and how do you get those cute little icons on your posts?

Thank you very much.

Yeah-I'm getting kind of tired of the same old white sock trick- and have thought of getting a more colorful sock-like with stripes or cartoon characters.

I also have an old Survivor Buff from the TV show-you know what i'm talking about? Anyway-it's too wide, and would be too lose on my arm-I'm still trying to figure out a way to resize it to fit.

I'll let you know if any brilliant ideas pop into my head-unfortunately they usually pop right back out again.

oh- you mean these [Smile] -just scroll down to the Instant Graemlins , bottom left of screen and click on one-it should reappear in text where cursor is blinking. Have fun! [Big Grin]

Hi. Try www.brownmed.com

Click on Products, then Cast and Bandage Covers. Choose Mid-arm Protector. This was fabulous. It was so watertight that I could shower and get in the hot tub for an hour.

You must have someone help you get it on as it is a tight fit. Order several because after a few weeks, they start to split and the seal isn't good around your arm.

Good luck with it!

They were worth every cent I paid for them. Sure beat the Wal-Mart bag and duct tape!

first twin, glad to see you are posting again..Hope you are doing ok with a picc line. My daughter got some sleeve thing from a store at the Bel Air Mall. Hot topics, I think is the name. It was not for picc lines but she used it when going out.

Also for bathing, she used the new glad wrap and tape at the ends.

Good luck. lymemomtooo
