LOL, it was probably bumped due to that interesting story on Nifong from here in NC. What an embarrassment he has been to our wonderful state.

I for one was glad to see the story as he definitely should have lost his law license. For those not familiar with his story, he was the idiotic Durham County prosecutor who hid evidence in the Duke lacrosse rape case.

Wow, wasn't that amazing?! She looks not a day over 65 or 70. Clear-headed, alert. Hard to believe that she is 95.

Her grandmother lived to be 96 and her mother 100. Bet she could make 110 as long as she continues keeping her mind active and her body healthy.

Researches need to put more time into studying genes of folks like that. They are all about increasing life spans but not quality of life.

The quality of her life is exceptional. Three of my grandparents lived to be 90 plus, one grandmother 95. All with fairly good quality of life.

this is sort-of off topic, but i had to share.

the teacher they profiled reminds me of my amazing childhood violin teacher, who just passed away at the age of 97. she was teaching full-time (40 students) until about three months before her death. she is, by far, the most incredible woman i have ever known:

and, back to the topic at hand, i hope the lyme story airs soon. looking forward to seeing it!

i'm sure someone can go to cbs and bring up a link for this. that's what i can remember between my nap times! [lol]
