These chocolate bars are staring at the patients in the reception area of my naturopath friend's office! I was told they work very well for weight loss. I am working on about ten extra pounds and I think I will give them a try.

Any of you?

Take care.

I went low-carb about two months ago, lost nearly 20 pounds as a result, have had no cravings for sugar- till this weekend when an urge for sweets inexplicably came back. Those things in that web page look awfully good to me now!

Then again of course you can make your own cocoa 'fudge' using various low-carb cooking techniques and stevia/glycerine or other sweeteners.

I think I'll go experiment soon.

If it's really chocolate that you crave, and not the sweat/sugar, then I always recommend getting very dark chocolate. You need only a little satiate the craving because it's more intense, and some forms have less sugar.

My chocolate bar of choice is the Lindt Excellence bar (70% or 85% cocoa). One square is usually all I need when I have a craving. It has less sugar than most other bars out there.

It's also one of the few chocolates that isn't made with soy lecithin. I'm recently discovered soy allergic, and soy lecithin is in most chocolate.

That's what I buy when I buy it. Right now, I'm trying NOT to buy any!!

Recently I've stopped craving chocolate. I keep my bar around, but will go weeks without touching it. I think it might be because I stopped drinking coffee. The coffee and chocolate cravings always went hand and hand with me.
