Prior to the major onset of my symptoms, I had a TB test done (results negative). I had it done because I'm a healthcare provider.

Has anyone come accross an association between getting a vaccination and an increase in symptoms?

Just askin'

Good question - I wish I could remember.

I had a TB test during all of this. I also received 3 hep B vaccines.

So, not sure how to answer this.

I had all my vaccinations repeated a few months before I got sick. I don`t know if that means anything though. K.

I refuse to take vaccines because of the mercury and other content. I think it adds to our problems of being able to get well.

I've heard many stories here of people feeling much worse after getting a vaccine.

Aside from thimerasol (mercury derivative) which is present in some vaccines, which I'm sure is no /help/ for the body, there is no conclusive evidence to suggest vaccines are linked to Lyme. Unless of course, you've had Lymerix, which is well accepted even by conventional medication to cause lyme-like symptoms and was overall a bad vaccine. Hence, why its off the market now.

If you have Lyme, then it would make sense that anything that activates your immune system could cause an increase in symptoms. Whether it be a vaccine, the flu, or food poisoning.

My LLMD actually recommended I get the flu shot because the flu would be worse for me than the shot. But we are all different.

A vaccine, besides the failed Lyme vaccine, couldn't cause Lyme. You need to get the infected with borrelia bacteria to get Lyme. (I know you weren't asking that EyeBob, but I thought people might get confused by the title)
