I have been wakeing up for the past week a few times a night in a total dripping sweat, and I am not feeling well. No fever just ache all over and very tired. I stopped abx treatment in Feb this year and I am afraid it's back. Why do sweats happen only at night? Could they just be hot flashes? I'm 44 and never had one but could it just be that????

Could very well be indicating Babesia, which could be why you have "relapsed."
The following signs/symptoms may be present in those infected with Babesiosis: Fatigue Arthralgias Myalgia Drenching sweats Headaches Emotional lability Depression Dark urine Splenomegaly Dizziness Nausea and vomiting Cough Dyspnea Fever Chills Hepatosplenomegaly Jaundice Malaise Shortness of breath Bleeding tendencies, bruising Thrombocytopenia Hemoglobinuria Hyperesthesia Pulmonary edema Encephalopathy Low to normal range leukocyte counts Possible elevated levels of dehydrogenase, bilirubin, transaminase* Anorexia Approximately 25%- 66% of Babesia patients are known to be co-infected with Lyme disease. These symptoms may continue for long periods of time, decrease, then return. A low Babesiosis titer (IgG) often indicates a chronic infection. An acute or current infection may show a higher reading on the IgM test initially. There are over 100 species of Babesia in the United States but only ONE or TWO species are currently checked by commercial labs.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was diagnosed 3 years ago with Babesiosis, and prior to that Lymes. I have extremely bad night sweats and have a feeling it's caused by the bab. I'm going to a sleep diagnostic center to evaluate if there are any other problems causing the sweats, but I think if it were menopausal, it wouldn't be every night. I'm very concerned by this as my body is working overtime, trying to fight something in my system. It's bad enough to be premenopausal, but add on all the other symptoms and it's a big mess! Sleep deprivation can be a sign of other underlying problems. I suggest go to a DR. and get a thorough check up. Good luck.
