I've been on medicine for about two months or so. Since treatment I've noticed that my tachycardia has been much better. The first month on treatment actually it got so much better. I didn't need to take Toprol-XL (was taking it after seeing a cardiologist who couldn't find a reason for my fast pulse and palpitations) to slow my heart rate or help with palps because my pulse slowed and the palps were almost non-existent.
Then the next month was terrible. Probably a herx. My pulse went back up (sometimes as high as 105 - 110) and my palpitations came back (but not as bad as they were before treatment).
Since then, my pulse has been all over the place. Yesterday it was nice and normal. Today it was high again.
Has anyone else, who has/had tachycardia and palpitations, notice this happen to them? I take my pulse and blood pressure every day. Sometimes twice a day just to keep track in my symptoms notebook.
I'm just wondering why it'd get better and then come back, etc. I guess it just depends on how my body responds to medicine that day or herxes maybe?

I had a whole year durring treatment with heart issues like that. 6 ER visits, one with left ventrical fib that lasted 2 hours. All the heart issues are gone now.

That's very likely!
I would also suspect babesia. Do you have that too?

Don't know. Just had blood drawn for Dr. F's Lab, so hopefully we'll find someting! *prays*

I have the EXACT same problem. I think it is the Babesia (sp). Stand up slowly! My doctor also said I have a condition known as Dysautonomia. Basically, my autonomic nervous system doesn't work as is should. Can be moderate or severe.
