Support Group Meeting 1 - 2 PM

Kathy Fowler, the WJLA-TV reporter who did an excellent story on David Nelson and his battle with Lyme disease, has asked to attend our support group in preparation for a longer story on Lyme in the greater DC area. She has asked to talk with our members and film some portions of our support group and general membership meetings. To accommodate her, we are holding our regular support group meeting from 1 to 2 PM. For those who are interested in participating in this support group meeting, portions of which will be taped by Channel 7 news, please e-mail or call us. Disability Program 2 -4 PM

In response to many requests from our members, we have planned a special program on disability issues related to Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. We have a panel of area legal experts to address these issues and answer your questions. Both Mr. Lambros and Ms. Purll represent Lyme patients on matters pertaining to disability claims.

Support Group Meeting 1 - 2 PM

Kathy Fowler, the WJLA-TV reporter who has been doing the series on Lyme disease on the 5 o'clock news will attend our support group. She has asked to talk with our members and film some portions of our support group and general membership meeting. To accommodate her, we are holding our regular support group meeting from 1 to 2 PM.

PLEASE BE SURE TO COME AT 1 PM TO PARTICIPATE. Without sufficient participation, it will not appear that Lyme is reaching the epidemic proportions we know to be the case.

Policy makers and members of Congress from across the country watch our Washington local news. Your presence and support CAN make a difference.

Please be sure to write WJLA on its website in to thank them for this important and insightful series bringing attention to the problem of Lyme disease. [email protected] or see the latest story at: http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/0907/459376.html

BECAUSE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS MEETING, THE YOUNG PEOPLES MEETING WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE NOVEMBER MEETING.
