Found this info on Lymebusters Morgellons chat, under the post onchoceriacis. One of the doctors who is a researcher Dr. H at the Morgellons Research Foundation has just published this info, but not formally yet.
What he is stating is that Onchocerciacis (filarial worms) and 2 forms of bacteria Actinomycsis Isreali and Wolbachia are co-infections of Lyme and that is what is causing Lyme to be chronic.
The tx is both antibiotics and antiparasitics and has to be done in a certain way. He also pointed out that Burgdorfer found over 30 filarial worms when he first examined the ticks, and that the spirochetes were an aside.
The emphasis hss been on the ketes and not much attention given to the parasitic worms. The filarial worms are known as "dancing worms" could explain "internal vibrations, swollen lymph nodes, biting, stinging, crawling, vision problems (river blindness)brain fog, Add, bipolar etc.
The first thing that Dr. K treats is worms and parasites, and I believe GiGi has posted this. Makes sense to me. I think this Dr. is really on to something.
Definitely worth going over to Lymebusters to examine his report. Sorry couldn't transfer the post.
