Unfortunately, when I called the doc apparently many other people read the same magazine article I did. He said to write a letter, but there were about 250 people ahead of me and he couldn't even schedule an appointment.
"Have often wondered if something has been overlooked in hubby's medical puzzle."
Yes, I have wondered about that too, Bea.
Take care.

Yup. There is another doctor mentioned in that article, Dr.L.G., who was the mentor of Dr. Bolte for a while.
Dr. LG is well known as a brilliant diagnostician around NYC, and he was the one who dx'ed me, even though I presented as a not very typical Lyme case at all (and no, Dr. LG does NOT dx everything as Lyme).
I would say if you can't get into dr. B, go to dr. LG, but be warned, his initial fee is a bit... steep. About the same as a good LLMD, really.

There's a great book by Dr. Leo Galland called The Four Pillars of Healing. I read it a couple of years ago, before I found out I had Lyme, and I seriously considered going out to NYC to see him.
I don't remember if there's anything specific about Lyme or TBD in the book, but Dr. Galland's diagnostic approach and analysis of the patient's "whole picture" really impressed me.

thanks Bea for posting this.
Did he say he would respond to your letter with an appt or answers?
I know you and your husband have been thru so much, there has to be a missing piece to the puzzle.
This dr seems very promising. I too am looking for help, dr are clueless about me.
