Is it possible to herx within 6 hours of an antibiotic? Ouch!

Just started Clindamycin 300mg + Rifabutin 150mg.
I have never done clindamycin before. But have done a 1.5 years of other oral abx.

The pain is burning, stinging, boring... on the right side only. Anyone else dealing with this?

I have had one sided ear and brain sx for years. Unfortunately they seem not to be lessening over the long haul with tx, but now involve my eye.

Any insights from experience what critter might be causing these symptoms? Maybe it's screaming cytokines?

What are folks favorite cytokine chillers?

Uh huh. I herx within the HOUR of taking a new antibiotic, until my body adjusts to it. And then when the lyme cycles, I feel every ounce of every abx , usually within the house.

I have used sauna, hot baths, lemon water and various other things to help detox- the latest being chlorella. One suggestion- get a good brand.

Are you taking anything or yeast too?
