My daughter contacted lymes when she was 6yrs old. She is now 13 and the nightmare seems to never end. Even the slightest cold always turns ugly. Although she is up to date on all her shots even pnumonia shots, she has had the mumps the measles , pnumonia, appendisitis, bacterial meningitis and now some wierd rash and they think because her hands and feet are swelling and she keeps getting a wierd rash her kidneys are in trouble. My question is: Is this normal? And do we have to look foward to a life of problems, could this all be from the lymes?

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. What type of treatment did your daughter receive for the Lyme?

Many people are undertreated. You want to get her to see an LLMD, a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor. It's not an official specialty, it's a doctor that treats chronic Lyme and has become very knowledgeable on the issue.

Most doctors refuse to believe Lyme can be chronic. Most of us here are proof that is wrong.

You can post in the seeking doctors forum for some doctor recommendations.
