Has anyone gotten to the bottom of what the actual causes are of the vibrating some of us feel in our bodies?

Is it the lyme, the babs, the bart, the herx???

Mine has started up again in my elbow area, which I had not had before, usually it is in my feet and legs.

Anyone have an explanation for the vibrating????

i get that too, it was a couple of months straight in one leg and then moved to another leg and then a couple of days i had it on the side of my face..... good question, no idea what causes it.

Is it actual vibration, or just the sensation of vibration?

Adam,

When I used to get it before, it was as if the cell phone was vibrating on my body, but I had no cell phone on me.

Literal vibrating and yet maybe just the sensation of it since I don't really know that anything is moving like I can literally see when there is twitching.

Yet, now, it is like between vibrating and like a really speedy quivering in my right arm.

Also my legs.

It had gone away, so I thought I was done with it.

Don't know why it's come back,

Kind of interested in getting to reason.

I guess it's nerve? Muscle? Joint? All of the above?!?

I also get this once in a while. Mostly in my legs. Before I knew I was sick it happened one day while I was sitting on the couch and it happened so fast I thought there was a buzzing insect near my leg on the couch because that is exactly what it felt like. A buzzy/vibrating feeling in my leg.

Not sure what causes it.

We know for sure I have Bart.

If you check out the now permanent symptom list at the top of this section, listed in "bartonella symptoms" is "nerve stuff" -- one of which is "vibrating".

I thought that this was the best symptom list I had seen for bart. I totally have the vibrating stuff, and sometimes, when I look down, my leg or arm will be moving ever so slightly. ?

Hmmmmm. Yup.

My dr. mentioned the bart yesterday. I'll deal with it after the babs.

I've got some bone pain too.

Oddly both bart and babs, since the red blood cells area created in the bone marrow.

I think I'm herxing from the mepron/zith/art I started several days ago.

That must be it.

I have vibrations and what I call a Parkinson like tremor which is very fine.

I used to keep reaching for my cell phone thinking I had it between

My legs when driving. My cell phone is set on vibration.

It was funny but not. I looked like I was groping myself everytime

I drove the car. Doxy made it go away....for now.

The other tremor thing is a very fine movement of hands and (feels like) body too.

That has not gone away yet.

Hugs,

Geneal

I had this symptom as part of a Lyme herx.

I was feeling this the other day. Any one have any updates on what it is, or is from?

My boyfriend gets this & he doesn't have Lyme. I don't think it's Lyme specific.

Could be an effect of electro magnetic frequencies or HAARP - http://www.haarp.net/ ?

Just a guess...

I get this in my legs and feet, on and off, but not everyday. Sorry, I don't know what causes it. I would like to find out also. It feels creepy!

I had vibrating going on before my diagnosis, but mine was mostly in my neck. You could actually place your hand on the back of my neck and feel it.

I've been on orals for 20 months of bart, babs and lyme and still get the tremors and shocks now and then, but oddly, the vibrating seems to have cleared up, so I won't complain.

Hopefully you will be able to get it under control with treatment.

I thought I was going crazy. This happens to me all the time. Mostly with my legs and hips.

Is it from the neuropathy? It happens more frequently if I sit for too long.

I have vibrations in my legs, sometimes like a tingle or shiver running down my entire leg. Some days it happens a lot, then nothing for a while, but not regular like a herx. It's not painful, just wierd. My LLMD said it's the bacteria just under my skin.

This didn't make much sense to me but since he is so well respected and known in the Lyme world I figured he must know something.

Ewww...for some reason that gives me the creeps, thinking about the bacteria just under our skin making this happen! I figured it had to be some CNS issue for sure. But I like his answer better.

I had one doc tell me it is CNS related. That vibrating can indeed be a central nervous system symptom.

Even the feeling of crawling can be the nerves.

Except for the more overt crawling...which I had at time of diagnosis....I kinda think that was the bugs crawling across my face, totally FREAKED ME OUT!

Still vibrating.....

Even with magnesium powder supplementation.
