If anyone has any information regarding IV doxycyline and Lyme for an insurance appeal please let me now. My daughter's IV Doxy was denied due to no information available for this and Lyme treatment. Thanks.

Thanks. I have that. I need studies , anything on IV Doxy and Lyme. If anyone has any info on IV antibiotics studies in Lyme for longer than 28 days I could use that to. The insurance declined this b/c of no studies of IV doxy used for Lyme. If it were Rocephin I might not have this denial.

I've tried to "google" "google scholar" but it's not working at the moment.
Try later, and when google scholar comes up try googling "IV doxycyline lyme" and see if anything comes up.
You could argue that your insurance company is not supposed to dictate your medical care, your doctor is.
That may be the only point you can make if you can't find articles to support the IV doxy.
