My skin burning pain has come back after being gone for quite a long time. I am in treatment with an alternative dr so I am not on any antibiotics.

I was doing great for a long time then this past week I spent some time in the sun. I didn't burn or anything cuz i wore sunscreen. The next day the all over body skin burning pain was back.

Anyone else really dealing with this? It sucks! Its always been one of my worst Lyme/bart symptoms and I hate it.

It's baaack! You need to retreat. Sorry. Burning skin is the release of biotoxins.

I'm sorry, but maybe if you get it in time, your relapse will be brief.

Hugs,
CherylSue

I really do wonder if its from toxins building up suddenly or if its a major herx. I always get like this at times around my monthly cycle and this month I am being hit HARD.

Believe it or not, I am making progress with my treatments! I love my dr and the things he has been doing with me. If I am not better tomorrow, Ill call him and see what he wants to do.

I also need to get my b-12 injections refilled. I take methyl b-12 injections and they do help an awful lot!!

Anyone else get this awful skin pain?

Ouch again... Nal...

Was thinking about you and hoping you were doing better with this. Stopped in to check on you.

Hope the doctor has some answers. Sorry I can't help you ease the pain. The ONLY thing that comes to mind is soaking in a tub of tea bags. YEARS ago they said when I was little to ease the sunburn pain I should soak in a tub with tea bags.

Why, I don't know. But it was something about the tannic acid in tea that they thought would help.

I am NOT recommending this... just thinking out loud here. I do remember it helped though.

I really hope you feel better soon.

Oops! I mis-spoke.

Don't soak in a tub full of tea bags... that is not what I meant. I meant to say to soak in a tub of WATER that has tea bags added to it.

I just got this picture in my mind after re-reading my post... and thought how goofy someone would look sitting in a dry tub surrounded by dry tea bags!

[lol]

Hope this clears it up!
