hi everyone,

I'm being treated for Lyme/Babs/Bart. I'm getting ready to include Mepron in my treatment for Babs. I'm a little concerned about the liquid Mepron because it has saccharin in it. I tend to have reactions to artificial sweeteners.

Anyone know whether Mepron is available in a form that might not have an artificial sweetener?

I'm scared to take the stuff!

Thanks in advance.

Fuzzy

Unfortunately, no, it's only available in liquid.

Malarone has the same medication, but it's weaker, you would have to take 6 per day to get the same dosage as Mepron.

Just uggggg!

Well, I suppose nothing is ever easy. I'll have to give it a try. Yuck.

Thanks, six!

Hugs,

I don't like artificial sweeteners either. I don't know why they'd use something so toxic in a medicine! It's not like it makes the Mepron taste any better, LOL!

Good luck with it. It's been a miracle for me. I'm back on it, day 5 (so I'm herxing). I felt immediate relief both this time around and last time around, until the herx started. [Wink]
