This may sound strange...

But yesterday I started getting these intense episodes of feeling like my brain is almost shaking or floating or spinningin my head

along with a sense of strong pressure.

I thought maybe I had forgotten to take my lexapro since it felt similar to withdrawel.

Now today they are stronger and it is making me quite dizzy, especially with eye movement.

In the past, when I have not worn my eyeglasses for awhile, I would get very motion sick just walking around looking at things.

I lost my glasses last week, so could this have something to do with this?

Is this how vertigo is described?

I am taking Lexapro 10mg, Biaxin 1500mg, Ceftin 2000mg daily (recently increased Biaxin by 500 mg)

Any help is appreciated, I am a little scared:(
Thanks

Find your glasses.

By the way, you brain is literally floating and sometimes shakes inside your head with abrupt movement.

justwondering - i experienced something similar last fall

my brain felt as though it was a bsketball being "dribbled" in my head with my vision moving side to side with it - then everything went black -just for an instant - then like a switch being turned on my vision returned

this happened several times - i collapsed a few times because of it

i think it is my bart - and we added a 3rd abx - symptom subsided

the vertigo, dizzyness, numbness were intense during these episodes - they are now "manageable" meaning i am driving again

had an eeg and evoked potential done - but i was already on the new abx and was feeling a little better

neuro (who i did not like - they have since lost my file) ruled out seizures

my llmd called them "seizure like" activity because we can't prove it to be a seizure

i also take biaxin, i cannot tollerate more than 1000mg a day.....could this be a herx from the med increase?

please call your doc and discuss these symptoms

I call it "jiggly brain". Brain feels like it is moving around inside my skull like jello.

LLMD says it is a Lyme symptom and not just me thinking I was losing it. Was a post topic about a month ago...

-Usually happens upon waking or when very relaxed.
-jiggles started after treatment started-thinking co-infection
-pressure is always with me and my headaches.
-had "seizure like" major problems before dx, but this is more bothersome then painful

Wishing you luck,
wantabe

I called it my bobble head. It felt like my head would move, then my brain and vision would follow after short delay.

don't get in anymore..... I guess that is the good news!

OK, so I am not alone!

It is so interesting to hear the other experiences b/c it is so hard to describe the sensations.

I really think it is somehow related to my visual problems.

I picked up my glasses yesterday, so hopefully this feeling goes away soon:)

Thanks everyone so much
