Have you seen Dr. C?

Would you recommend him?

Was your experience good or bad?

I am seeing Dr. C for congenital lyme on Monday. Please give me your feedback. We can't see many doctors because she isn't 3 until September.

I have not seen him personally but have heard very good things about him over the years.

I'm sure there are some who had negative experiences... but they are fortunately in the minority.

Dr C has made me well after having Lyme for 49+ yrs and only being dxd in the past 8 yrs. I've been off abx for more than 3 1/2 yrs and doing great.

What can I say? I'll send you some links, dbourne.

Here's an old link from Lymenet about him:

Dr. C is the best. I saw him when I got Lyme in 2002...he treated me with oral antibiotics for approximately two years, always answered my questions, offered helpful information, and I owe my wellness to him.

I have not taken any more antibiotics since that time, and it has been approximately 4 years.

I know I will always have Lyme disease, but without Dr. C's expertise, I would not be living a normal life right now. I still do have some symptoms, but I can deal with what I have with alternatives and herbs/supplements.

My best,

lifeline

Thanks everyone. You have made me feel much better. I will let you know how our appointment goes on June 9. Say a prayer for our little one. Her night terrors are getting so bad. Last night she was screaming because a lion was trying to get into her birthday party. Her best friend/security item (a brown teddy bear) tried to save her but the lion still got in. Just breaks your heart!

so far though, i've seen no parent talk if THEY HAD A CONGENITAL LYME CHILD .... those are the responses she really needs here.

if you know of a member, please send them this link, and ask them to respond to her ok! THANKS WONDERFUL MEMBERS! [group hug] [kiss]

My whole family sees him. We are very happy with his treatment protocols, just not the drive it takes us to get there...He is treating my son and was very child friendly. We are still in the "thick of things " here, but I have heard he will someday make it all better for all of us..
Good luck with your appt.
also..my son when he was around 3 used to have terrible night terrors, but grew out of them. They can very stressful on the parent, I know, hang in there..

Dr. C is good, but come with a list of questions and don't let him get you side tracked. I find he goes off on tangents with me and I have to get him back on track. Hiker53
