What did the center of your bite look/feel like?

Like I've said many times before, mine was covered by RED tattoo (mistake), so I wouldn't have known.

Mine was not itchy but burned slightly and was almost "oozy" about the size of the tip of my pinky (the center that is.

Anyone else care to share about the center of their rash? Just want to compare.

Hi Nessa,

How is that area with the tattoo, now?

Well, bulls-eyes are individual. Big or small. Dark or light. Round or kind of oval. Mine was huge--it covered half my thigh. It didn't hurt, itch, wasn't warm, wasn't oozy, and it was not raised. It was pale pink.

It had a definite clearing in the middle, which grew.

For the guests who are reading this, most don't get the rash and only a small number of kids do. [dizzy]

If you get one, quick--get a picture before it goes away. Try to get the paper with today's date on it, in the picture, near the rash. Take the picture in natural light, if possible.

Now you have a document that proves you have been infected with the Lyme pathogen.

Any more bulls-eye stories?

This bite was back in early Jan/Late Dec. It is gone now. But it had a clearing in the middle, slightly oozy, not itchy, a little burning where the middle of the bite was. I could have had a bull's eye rash but wouldn't have known it because my tattoo is RED and large enough where even a small bull's eye rash, let's say the size of a quarter wouldn't have shown up.

It was a roundish oval-ish shape. It wasn't raised either.

OK, Nessa. 6 months. Do you have any signs and symptoms at all?

Have you been to an LLMD?

At the LDA wesite, on the left menu, toward the bottom, click on rash photos to see the diversity of bulls-eyes and clearing in the middle in various stages:
