It's not all hot air, eh? It's hard to know, typing away in my closet (I do have plants, a lamp and a large garden painting in here, though).

I'm still pretty much a mess but found out I may have some tiny pieces of bone missing in my inner ear canals and that explains a lot. So, I hide in my closet to avoid noise and to study how to get well.

I get side tracked here a lot and I have to say that I worry about loading on too many articles and links. But, since most doctors offer very little, people sure get their money's worth here.

Part of this is to see if I can still function at all - but it's 9 pm and an official dinner has not happened yet. Frozen (then) steamed spinach is calling.

I hope new folks can find treatment as quickly as possible. If I can help in anyway, that is the only way I can be part of the world right now - and maybe help set right - in some degree - what has happened that is so very wrong about all this.

I'm impressed by EVERYONE here. It's a pretty good team, helping each other. What a place.

i could not agree more how hard keebler works at sending FACTUAL, reputable info to all she helps out!

now for working in a closet, are you sure CLARK KENT AKA SUPERMAN isn't in there with you Keebler??? lol [lol]

i could NOT handle that; i'm claustrophic since being locked in a car truck with my mischevious brother, age 4 or 5, putting me like 7-8 for 4 long hours until supper time when mom came to look for us on the farm!!

besides if the person you are sharing with is NOT able to absorb it all right now, others on the board gain the info you posted!

I think what you give to people on this board is a lot of love, plus real, take-home information a lot of people can use.

You're in a closet. You gotta do what ya gotta do, huh?

I know the feeling of trying to help others. When I was in my depths, frightened, I couldn't believe how doctors ignored me.

I especially--and this one the biggest thing of all--I didn't want to die on the streets, hungry because I was too sick to get to a soup kitchen, to die of exposure in winter, to be very subject to rape, and all the time thinking: Oh my God, what's happening to so many of us.

I worried about that for about 2 1/2 years.

Then, I went homeless with a cathetar in my arm and I couldn't exactly haul around a refrigerator to keep Rocephen cold.

But I spent not one night on the streets ...

After I left my apartment, the most astounding thing happened: A congressman's aide told me about a place for homeless veterans. I trucked on over. I'm still here. I am grateful.

Like you, that's why I come here--to make a difference.

Well, bless your heart! What you have to do to provide help for others is amazing. And the fact you do it so well is amazing too with the adversities you are facing.

I agree.. and by no uncertain terms am I trying to discount anyone else's contributions when I mention one name. There are so many wonderful folks here... and anyone who posts to folks in need are very special.

I just wish I had time to say... actually TOOK the time to say... and wish I remembered to say so, when I am responding to a post.
