Since biofilm treatment is a topic of discussion currently, I wanted to mention that my LLMD has suggested Boluoke (Lumbrokinase) as a way of dissolving biofilm, for Bartonella in my specific case.

This topic may have been brought up on LymeNet, but my LLMD has reiterated that Bartonella is relatively easy to eradicate once the biofilm layer is penetrable.

If anyone has anything to add to this or any personal accounts of using the product, please fill us in!

Just a warning -- I have terribly strong herx reactions (at least I believe they are die off reactions) every time I use lumbrokinase.

There is a day or two lag, and then after using this product for a couple of days, I feel full-blown neurological symptoms and profound fatigue.

It passes quickly when i stop. Just be cautious about starting and speak with your doctor.

BACKGROUND

DATA: NB and mitochondria use light for biological processes .

NB have been described as multifunctional primordial nanovesicles with the potential to utilize solar energy for replication .

RESULTS: Monochromatic light clearly affected replication of NB . Maximum replication was achieved at 670 nm .

CONCLUSIONS: The results indicate that suitable wavelengths of light could be instrumental in elevating the vitality level of NB,

preventing the production of NB-mediated slime,

and simultaneously increasing the vitality level of mitochondria .

The finding could stimulate the design of cooperative therapy concepts that could reduce death caused by myocardial infarcts.''

We're looking at ways other than meds to address the slime/biofilm problem.

Keep and open mind...the use of various lightwaves to heal is in its infancy.

My Bartonella treatment that is 99% effective:

IV heparin, IV Vancomycin, CalciClear AM & PM, and boluke.

This has worked for hundreds of people and it is working for me, it is just rally painfully because of the severe herxing.

I used Bouloke in 2006 and it affected me by not allowing me to sleep for more than two hours or so a night even though I was taking mega Benzos. I was a mess.

I'm sure it was a strong herx - letting the meds work better due to the blood being thinner. I've been thinking about giving it another try. My Lyme Dr. feels it's a pretty potent drug and he's more into the "slow and steady" approach.

He may take another view with this new "biofilm" info out now. I haven't been diagnosed with Bart but feel that I have it.

I have been taking lumbrokinase since February--3 to 4 capsules a day while being treated for Babesia.

I have noticed improvement in tinnitus.

I have more mental clarity also.

During this time, there has been some minor herxing, but since I'm also treating for Babesia, I couldn't point a finger at lumbrokinase.

It did seem to me that the tinnitus improvement was directly related to the lumbrokinase, but I'm now getting some Zith-caused tinnitus, I believe, so the gained improvement is going down at this time. I hope to be off the Zith before I'm back where I started!!

My LLMD wanted me to take lumbrokinase due to two seizure-like episodes I had and the fact that my mother had a massive stroke when she was 47 years old. Lumbrokinase specifically works in the brain to strip fibrin, and can be used, so he told me, in very large doses to treat strokes successfully right after they occur.

I had been taking other systemic enzimes previously--vitalzyme, nattokinase, neprinol, etc.

Hi There.

Very interesting topic.

You mentioned that you had been taking Vitalzyme and other enzymes before Lumbrokinase... how are they different do you think?

I think I checked the label on Vitalzyme and it's pretty similar...

I guess I'll check again. If Lumbro works in the Brain, then I def. want to take that instead of the Vitalzyme!

Byron, are you following that particular Bartonella program with Dr. R in Missouri? I am interested in the CalciClear products as I have been instructed to take them as well.

Also, Byron, could you tell me what your dosages are on the Boluoke as well as the CC AM & PM?

Good thread. Thanks, Cass A. for posting that interesting info on Lumbrokinase. I was on Buluoke for two months this spring, but stopped it due to the expense, and didn't notice any changes. I took one a day.

My LLMD in Missouri encouraged me to take it if I didn't take the heparin. That's interesting to know about the stroke thing, because I have high blood pressure and my elderly mother has had strokes.

BTW, who is your LLMD? Initials and state only, please.

I am taking 2 calci am's and 2 cali pm's a day for now... 1 boluke a day

This is just for now, things may change later down the road.... heparin is the biggest factor in revealing the bartonella to the immune system and the ABX

you can add one drug on top of another on top of another.

You will neeed an antibiotic, an anti-depressant, probiotics, an ARB inhibitor, a blood thinner, something to control your blood sugar level, something for the thyroid, something to sleep, something for pain...

the list goes on.

I'm trying to be honest, not scarcastic. Honest.

This is extremely complex pathogen (!) which is impacting many body functions....blood gets "thicker", blood pressure and cholesterol levels go up eventually, sugar level goes up leading to diabetes, depression kicks in, sleep problems, collagen is breaking down...

With each and every drug...side effects and drug interaction problems can develop.

How much can your liver and kidneys handle? All of these drugs have to be eliminated thru one of those organs.

If you are a guy...prostate cancer cells have NO PKCD (enzyme) in them. Researchers NOW know that if they did have PKCD in them...those cancer cells would die.

Bb has a PKC *inhibitor* which I am 99.99% sure is PKCD.

Conversely, increasing HO-1 protein level by hemin prior to irradiation is cytoprotective.

HO-1 stimulation by PDT is dependent on transcription and de novo protein synthesis and it is preceded by the nuclear accumulation of the Nrf2 transcription factor, which is reduced by inhibitors of p38MAPK and PI3K.

Regarding Lumbrokinase--

I don't know why or how its action is different than other enzyme products that are used as "systemic enzymes" and not "digestive enzymes."

I know that Rechts Regulat, which Dr. K promotes in his long article "Lyme disease--A Look Beyond Antibiotics," thins the blood--I have seen this effect in myself, and others at Lymenet have reported that it reverses the hypercoagulation Lymies often get. Dr. K says, in the same article, that it also works on fibrin in the blood vessels, and that it is more effective than nattokinase or lumbrokinase, according to his personal trials.

I have no research articles or other data to give you.

Nano bacteria are the smallest one celled bacteria in human blood.

They form slime layers...biofilm.

They take advantage of the steady-state calcium-phosphate and nutrient supply of the mammalian blood.

And since Bb is effecting the Na-Ca pump (Na in, Ca out)...

It is highly likely that they are enjoying a tremendous friendship with Bb.
