I asked my Dr. if I could get a MOCHA HEMEX test done and I'm not sure if he knows what to do as he simply mailed me the resuts.

Fribinogen was higher, but in the normal range.
T/AT was right in the normal range.
Fragment 1+2 was high @ 376 (normal range 80-315)

What does a high F 1+2 mean? Should it be treated with a blood thinner? Can it be a cause of the cognitive, ringing ears, chest pain and head pressure (my top four symptoms)?

Most LLMD's treat for hypercoagulation if any of the results are high.

This is probably contributing to your symptoms but it is impossible to say how much it is affecting your symptoms.

If you prefer not to use heparin there are several other natural things which could help -- nattokinase, lumbrokinase, Wobenzyme, Vitalzyme etc.

This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

I think Hemex likes to see 2 positives on the panel before they treat for hypercoagulation. That is how it used to be, when I was originally tested about 8 years ago.

danny,

call and ask the dr. for COPY OF PAPERWORK LAB SENT HIM!

do you have my newbie package; do an edit, find, and type in MINN LLMD, and i typed up a DETAILED POST ON ALL MY LABS Back and everything each lab had to say.

i'm sure i had hemex done; check it out; you might learn something that way; that's why i painstakingly typed it up for others to learn from!
