Anyone else with eye problems?

Ive had eye tireness, dryness before, but since going on the new LLMD protocol, my left eye feels like it has a cold. Its always tearing, always going in and out of focus and it hurts just to keep it open.

Worse yet, it feels as though its constantly cramping, making me squint when I don't need to, and I cant get it to relax.

Ive done ice packs, warm towels, head massages and facials, etc, but it seems to keep sitting there.

Is their a heavy lyme concentration in my eye or in the area around my eye thats causing this? Ive gone from migraines for a few days to eye pain for a few days in a row now. Any eye, head, cheek, jaw answers would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Floaters in both eyes have been a symptom for me. They started with lyme and are still there...

Eye problems have been an immense issue for me lately. My eyes get very red, almost looking like I have pink eye, and they secrete mucous too. My vision gets blurry from a greasy film, usually in the morning, and they sometimes hurt to the touch.

I see my LLMD today and will discuss it with him. I'll let you know if I learn anything new about possible treatment. According to "The Lyme Disease Solution" by Dr. Singleton, red eyes is a symptom of Bartonella, which I tested positive for, so I'm thinking that is the issue for me.

Eyes are my main complaint.

My eye lids have been puffy for the past 4 years. My upper lids sag down far enough that I can see my own eye lashes when looking straight ahead.

When I first started treatment I had major issues with my depth perception. That has improved greatly. However it does tend to come back from time to time.

Blurred vision has been a big problem as well, but that goes hand in hand with my energy level. If I am feeling run down then my vision is low. Who knows if it's the fatigue causing the issues or what?

You are not alone. Lyme can cause serious issues with the eyes. So can Bart, but in my case I don't think its bart. I went through a 4 month regimen treating bart and I didn't herx at all. The only thing I noticed was the feared nerve pain that levoquin can cause.

Hang in there.
