Hello all fellow sufferers,

My elbows are now really inflamed, this is the worst they have ever been since 2 years ago when I first got bit. What can I do to reduce the pain. I'm a big man, 6'2", 220 lbs. I'm currently not taking any meds. I feel like a wimp these days, my elbows hurt so damn much, I can't even lift hardly anything without wincing. Anybody/Everybody please tell me your success story with your elbow pain.....THANK YOU ALL SINCERELY....Richie from Dutchess County, NY

Hail fellow Hudson-Valley-er!

First off: Ow and Ow and Ow!I don't have real sound answers, but I can tell you my experience with elbow pain.

When on Rocephin and in the beginning of Amox treatment, my joint pain rotated to every joint in my body. Sometimes hips, shoulders, sometimes ankles, elbows, sometimes neck, wrists, knees... It always changed and settled somewhere for a while, only to move again.

I found my elbows and knees would flare according to repetitive usage patterns. Like: too many trips up and down stairs to get ready for vacation and pack my car -- knees flared. OR, carrying heavy bundles, groceries or picking up children repeatedly -- elbows flared. Even leaning on my arm to get out of bed would set off my elbows.

Be conscious not to overextend your elbows with shoulder bags or carrying anything. Normally people say "Use it or lose it." In this case I'd say, "Use it and bruise it!" Be gentle with your inflammed joints; they are your "Achilles Heel."

Epsom salt bathes helped; Advil helped a little; staying on the abx and waiting for the cycle to move always happened eventually. Hot/cold packs helped.

If you are currently not taking meds, do you need to restart? Perhaps a revisit with your LLMD?

I wish you pain reduction and send blessings,

Best,

wiserforit

Thanks for the reply. Currently seeing a neuro

in Poughkeepsie. They found 2 spots (white

matter) on the brain MRI a month ago.

I did the IV Rocephin for 3 months with my LLMD

in Mount Kisco, that ended in late February. I

felt OK until about mid July, everything came

back strong. The music

in my head is the worst, racing thoughts

etc...I've had it with this crappy disease. I

know we're all in the same boat here, this S%#IT

sucks bigtime....can't sleep either, trying to

work and keep this house going is very difficult

lately..Good luck with your healing....Rich

yes, same doc in Mt. Kisco, I thought he was

pretty good actually....positive for Babs only,

no Bart, although you know how these tests go.

Where are you located???

Thanks, Rich [dizzy]
