I am having a hard time figuring out if vinegar is allowed or not for a lyme patient. I've read a few books and looked at candida diets and they all seem to contradict each other.

Thanks!

Hey Holly,

You are right.. one says one thing.. and another says another thing.

Kinda like the sugar/sweetener wars. Or the coffee wars. Or the wine wars. One day it is good for you.. the next day it isn't.

[Roll Eyes]

I guess who ever pays for the study about it gets to make the conclusions THEY like.

How about this...

Unless you plan to drink quart a day and bathe in it too....

I don't think it is going to kill you.

My thought is...

EVERYTHING IN MODERATION.

[Big Grin]

I do know it can help by changing your ph... especially in your mouth... and that can be helpful if you have an overgrowth of yeast. Sometimes that is the only relief.

So, will it mess you up cause it might have a little yeast in it?

Eh... ???

I don't think you will die from it. I haven't... not yet anyhow.

Sorry I don't have a better yes or no. But I'll bet if others reply there will be some yes and some no.

Bad to injest.

Great for cleaning the house.

I just got 2 gallons at BJs for 3 dollars.

I run it though the carpet cleaner. Does a good job.

Also cleaned the bathroom with it yesturday.

Yeah, it won't help you if you have yeast....which nearly everyone on long term abx has.

I still ingest it when it comes in the form of salad dressings, etc.

Raw apple cider vinegar has many health benefits. Other vinegars should be avoided if you have problems with yeast.

I agree about the apple cider vinegar. It's also alkaline vs. other vinegars being acidic. I've heard it's good for yeast problems, too.

For some reason I can't eat vinegar at all anymore - can't tolerat the taste. I just put a very good Olive Oil on my salad now and a pinch of sea salt.

I get burning in my feet from vinegar. Also many foods.
