He gets a lot of questions - is highly respected. I wonder how does he know so much.
Do you think he provides legitimate answers all the time - or does he make things up on the fly?
A couple weeks ago he said not to worry if when removing an embedded tick you don't get the head out as well.
Now he explains that men are not as likely to get bit by ticks because their skin has more hair on it?
It just makes me wonder -

It has always been said on this board not to put any doctor on a pedestal.
If Dr. Oz is saying ignorant things like that, it really emphasizes how important it is to go to a GOOD LLMD. IMPORTANT!!!
He's clearly not an LLMD and it shows. Ashame he wouldn't do more research before answering a question so erroneously.

It would be great if he were able to do some research and get more information on lyme and company.
