I have had Lyme's, Babs and Bart for ten years now, but am having continuous problems with a neurogenic bladder which manisfests itself by pounding headaches and severe distention, only to be relieved by straight catherization. Does anyone have some feedback, support and/or suggestion as how to manage this problem. I would appreciate any help you may offer.

Why don't you search around on these sites and see if you find any help. I hope you will!!!
No, don't have that problem. The toxic overload is interfering with the brain and the bladder and the message is not communicated due to many neurological symptoms. I have no sensation down there, just get pounding aches or "wet brain syndrome", more hyperreflexic symptoms, which alerts me to having to check. If unable to urinate, I have straight cathing as the only alternative option. What a trip this has been this ten years! Some time soon I want that runaway train to stop.
