Wow glad to hear!

We need to know some more information though.

How long were you sick, how bad were you and what did he or she do to help you!

Thanks

I don't know exactly how long I had Lyme I would guess at least 2 years. Yes I had coinfections and she treated them. Right now I am working on mycoplasma along with liver stuff next will be heavy metals.

NIce!!! Could you describe your treatment a bit more?

Posted by candlequeen (Member # 17054) on :

She uses herbs and supplements and homeopathic. She doesn't use one herb for one thing. It is a mixture made by her and her dad.I am taking one for mycoplasma right now. Haven't started the heavy metals yet so I don't know.

Candle,
Are you going to the holistic clinic outside Quakertown? Can't remember if I'd asked you this before.

If so, I'd gone to them for quite awhile before being dx'd.

Didn't realize they treated lyme at the time and, by that point, had already started treatment with my current LLMD.

Very glad to hear the holistic treatment is working for you. [Smile]

No I go to a doc in Hatboro. I heard about the one in Quakertown but I also heard of some strange things they do there and i don't want to be involved in that.Quakertown is very close to me but going to Hatboro to see this doc is worth the drive.

Are they Chinese herbalists?

Posted by Curiouser (Member # 14128) on :

Ah, ok. Was wondering. Thanks. [Smile]

re: Quakertown clinic - the one thing that struck me as odd is that they didn't use herbs; just diet and supplements.

Other than that, I'm not aware of any strange things they may be doing. Then again, I don't get lucky like that. [Big Grin]

No she is not a chinese herbalist.

The docs in quakertown are involved with rosacrusha stuff etc. google the word rosacrusha and you will get the idea also go in depth into their website.

Nothing came up for rosacrusha... is this spelling correct? I was just curious about it...

Can you be more specific on which herbs you are taking & the results you get from them?

The whole international healing ministries thing they talk about on their website? Gotcha.

I understand your apprehension. That was in the back of my mind too when I first decided to go there.

It never came up the entire time I was there. In fact, spirituality, religion, etc. were never mentioned...ever. It was a complete non-issue at the clinic itself, much to my relief.

Search "rosicrucian." I tried it too because I was curious [Wink]

Okay...when I collapsed back in 1983, after being dismissed by all the ducks, I was so deathly ill that at one point I was on my knees begging for mercy and I am not a wimp.

I stayed at this clinic hoping they could help me. I was bedridden and too sick to take care of myself. I saw Dr P there who has since passed away.

I had wonderful tx of supplements, high colonics, massages etc and had 3 delicious organic meals a day in the dining room.

Of course back then no one even mentioned Lyme, so of course there was no diagnosis.

Yes they are Rosicrucians which I found out later(really don't know too much about it) and I can only tell you from my own experience that nothing strange ever went on that I saw.

I was there for a month, and back then it cost me around $5-6,000. I was treated only with the kindest of care and was extremely grateful that this clinic even existed.

I am surprised that they aren't treating Lyme now though. Dr. P believed that the adrenal glands were the main culprit. Hope this gives some clarity.

Gael,
I've never been to that clinic. I went to their sister clinic up the road. Saw Dr B when he was still practicing. Sweet guy, good doc.

I understand the clinic you went to has been doing a lot for CFS patients, based on Dr P's work.

I've read some of Dr P's papers on adrenal fatigue. Interesting stuff.

It sounds like even though they didn't find the cause for your illness, your stay there still did you some good.

Thanks for sharing! [Smile]

Sparkle7 as far as the herbs I am taking their really are several in one bottle and I use several bottles. It would take forever to type everything. To give you an idea they use what you are trying to fight off in the bottle. Example fungi has different fungus in it. That is the best way to describe it.
